Hey.

I've been trying to slice this model with proper bridges for a while now.

As you can see I've added a perimeter around it to support the first few layers of the blades.

It worked great on a different model that had slightly thicker blades but here Im facing issues with bridging.

The actual model consists of 18 of these stages stacked on top of each other with increasingly wider blades and so an increasingly wider perimeter.

The issue I'm facing is that the slicer isnt detecting the first layer lines between the centerpiece and the outside perimeter as bridges.

I've messed around with the slicer settings for hours and I can't get it to bridge.

I added some simple bridge models with similar dimensions to that first layer line to the same slice and they succeed.

I then made a similar blade and sliced it as well and the first connecting layer fails to get detected as a bridge.

I continued to mess around with the model changing the shape of the spline for the blade and sometimes it detects a bridge and at others it doesnt.

Bridge on the left but none on the right.

The model on the right has a sharper edge which isn't getting picked up by the slicer as its too sharp but why is the first layer of the blade that it draws not being detected as a bridge?

Am I missing a setting or something?

Sidenote:

The blades are curving for some reason in the slice. You can see they're flat on the right in the model, but in the slice they curve. I noticed that this only happens when using the arachne engine, on the classic engine they appear as straight. Is there a setting for this?

In the model it should be almost flat with the supporting piece, but in the slice theres a weird curve.

I'm aware that most of these issues can be attributed to slicing such small models but nonetheless they print properly when the slice works out.

Thanks in advance! :)
