Adding Support Enforcer

When using "Adding Support Enforcer" Box selected, under Object Manipulation, Position, "Z" will not move the box up and into position. Stays on the bed and you have to make the support box taller, (z size) running through your part (making it part of your part) all the way down to the bed. Please fix this function. Thank you.

RE: Adding Support Enforcer

Firstly welcome to the forum.  Secondly this is a user to user forum and not Prusa tech support.  Actual bug reports and issues should be raised at the Prusa Slicer github project.

You havent given much information to go on, no screen caps, no sequence of steps to follow to duplicate your 'issue'.  No attach zipped up 3mf project file that we can use to see the problem .  Given the little information the following will have to be pure guesswork.  I suspect you just arent using the software correctly due to limited experience with how it works.

Ok so here are some basics.  All Objects in PS much touch the bed.  You can NOT raise any Object off the bed, it will always drop back to it. However you CAN raise PARTS and modifiers off the bed as long as SOME part touches.  An object can be made up of many parts, modifiers, etc.
To manipulate a PART of an object you have to select it using the tree view on the right.  Once the part is selected you can then move that individual bit around using the handles on the platter or the object co-ordinates below the tree view.  If you just select the Object on the platter with the mouse you are selecting the Whole Object.

I've just tried the support enforcer modifier block on a test project and it moves correctly and functions properly.  As you can see from the following screen cap its quite happily raised off the bed.

So please get PS to the point where its not working for you and use File>Save Project As.  That will save a 3mf file from PS.  The 3mf will contain a snapshot of your workspace so will allow anyone opening it to duplicate your setup.  It MUST be zipped up for the forum to allow it to be attached here though.  Once you post please double check it attached as the other forum limitation is an extremely short edit window.
