3mf file with more objects, position is lost when importing

Hello, I have an 3mf-file (and step-file) with several objects, when I open the 3mf-file in prusaslicer all objects will be placed on the baseplate. Same problem with the  step-file when I split the objects. I would like to use prusaslicer for multicolor-printouts and I need to select each object on its position for selecting the filament, so importing the objects as a single object (when they stay on their positions) is no alternative.

Is there a way to import objects in a single file without loosing the position in coordinate system?

I've read this post https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/prusaslicer/multiple-stls-lose-relative-positions/#post-698486 with the same problem, and would like to ask for an alternative solution than importing each single object separatly, because there are a lot of objects...

If not, as a feature request: it would be nice to have an import option like "keep position in coordinate system". If an object is "free in space" I think it's rather a case for support or an error during slicing than the import...

Thank you

Markus

If you're on Windows you can just select all the model files in Windows Explorer and drag all of them at once into PrusaSlicer. PS will as if you want to treat is as a multi-part single-object. You choose Yes. Done.

Just make sure your Printer is set to one that can do multi-filament or you don't even get the popup.
