How would that ever happen? They are a tiny company compared to Prusa.

If anything it would be more like a Creality or AnyCubic buying Prusa. But I don't see that happening either. As I've stated in other posts, I anticipate them easing out of the consumer space and finding a home with industrial print farms.

Mikolas has confirmed there's a new version of the steel 'anti-fun' fence, which has the tool numbers on it.
Whether or not the new steel 'anti-fun' fence will have better viewing of the build plate/tool is yet to be known.
Tommy has mentioned there will be images of the new part available soon, and Gustav has confirmed founders will receive the new part with their kit.

Don’t think they’ve changed the horrible viewing obstructions which is crap. It’s hard to tell…Why they couldn’t just release a decent photo showing it in full is annoying.
It has nozzle seals similar to XL.

The photo angle and blur seem very deliberate. So Prusa have realized now that the design is bad. Seems they don't recognize a shitty design when they see it, but at least they listen when someone tells them. But they apparently can't fix it on short notice.

That blurred with a weird angle tells me everything I need to know that they did not redesign it but just added some lipstick in the form of white numbering. The fact that it is powder coated metal that appears to have the front upper frame included tells me that this will be final and there won't be any redesign in the future vs some printed throwaway part. That being said I would rather have reliability/utility than sexy. I am still waiting to see what the ONE L version looks like but will probably buy it because there is not really an option for more than 5 colors/filaments with different nozzles. I have the MMU3 and my one complaint after they got it working reliably was printing white or other light colors after a very dark color. You will always see a change in the lighter color no matter how much you purge.

In a post on Reddit which uses that picture, Prusa is now trying to shift the discussion to the all-important question whether the numbers should be 1..8 or 0..7. And it seems all the Rediots are falling for that little distraction. Tommy clearly read his "Manipulation 101" book, and apparently that's all it takes.

The MMU issue with White that you mentioned is exactly an issue that I faced and could not fix either.

My guess:
They've changed the weird diagonal struts that forked off from tools 3 and 6, and replaced them with single vertical struts from the same locations.
I could be way off, I often am !

I mean if I spend a few hundred euros on something I kind of want to know what the fuck I’m buying. This is a joke. When I heard them respond that they’d share an updated imagine, I was back thinking hmmm maybe they’ve actually put more thought into it… then bam… blurry, off angle, incomplete image. And this is meant to be shipping to 1500 people in four weeks and they’ve clearly not decided on it yet and are just scrambling… wow
