RE: It's June 2nd....
Do as I do: Expect that it will be at the end of year and then any earlier day is a gift 😀
The ultimate test of my prusa-patience has been my XL:
Order date: 18/11/2021
Date of dispatch: 17/10/2023
I survived that, barely haha.
But so far Prusa things have always been worth the wait (except the MMUs, but that's a personal pieve).
They haven't let me down in all those years so I'll keep on buying.
I'd just prefer it if they were a bit more realistic about their delivery schedules.

In this case though it's BondTech dictating the delivery schedules, not Prusa. If Prusa was running the INDX timeline then it would have already shipped but would have been partially flawed like the Core One. BondTech on the other hand seems to want to have a perfect launch at the expense of time.
RE: It's June 2nd....
I can't wait for this thread to run it's course... I check for new posts daily and the title always makes me double check the current days date as it messes me up a little 🙂

Update the title then? 😉

RE: It's June 2nd....
When I saw the "starts shipping in june 2026", I automatically read that as "probably by the end of the year" 😉
I still keep hoping that I'm wrong about such things though.
Having started my Prusa love affair with the MK3 I read it the same way. When I placed my INDX order on round one I assumed that I’d be lucky to see it in 2026. And I was okay with that - didn’t really care. Though as the year goes on I have to admit that I’m getting anxious to get and use it.

Is this better? 😜

Yes, the MMU 2 was a disappointment. But after near endless tinkering I got to around 95% reliability. I upgraded it to the MMU3 on my MK3s+ and started with a new one on my MK4. Reliability of the two MMU3’s have been almost 100%.

The perfect (ok, good) launch at the expense of time is what I'm waiting to see. It's always interesting when companies partner with one as a maverick and the other has more conservative engineering. My experience has been the maverick may learn what some engineering discipline can achieve while the other just regrets the situation.

Olof says 'Tomorrow' for positive news. (on Discord)
I notice that tomorrow is Friday though... is that good or bad?
RE: It's June 2nd....
It’s the end of the week job, where they want more info but know they can’t push it into next week again
RE: It's June 2nd....
"Positive news" sounds like it's going to be good.
Thanks for the heads up, I wasn't on the Bondtech Discord server so I went and joined, to not miss the news.
RE: It's June 2nd....
It would be really nice. I guess an email to the FEs to share the good news and a change in status on the order are due. Until one of them, preferably both :), happen we are still in speculation space...
If this is true, the release of new fW version and an install manual that could allow for FEs to prepare a little would also be strongly appreciated.

I would take this with skepticism. I hang out on Discord (when I'm bored) and "On Friday" and "Two Weeks" are a meme there. I would be happy to say tomorrow that I was wrong, but let's see.

Yes, saw that but I really can't take it seriously anymore because there is a history of him saying "On Friday". I'll just check my inbox tomorrow.

Something is happening.
There are new categories in the forum.
And under help there is the INDX Familiy

RE: It's June 2nd....
It is 3pm in europe... nothing sofar. No email from bond tech, no sw release, no blog, no upgrade instructions. Am I getting impatient? A little.
I am not on discord so I may have missed some last minute update and there a still a few hours to midnight...

RE: It's June 2nd....
Maybe Olaf meant Friday in US? We still have a good 9 hours till 5pm...
RE: It's June 2nd....
just got a Bondtech email.
Founders update.
Shipping will start June 25.We know the wait has been longer than any of us wanted. We've said that before and we mean it. But we didn't spend the time standing still; macros and firmware are in considerably better shape, we've fixed a heatcreep issue affecting low temp materials in elevated ambient temperatures, documentation is solid, and we've added accessories that weren't in the original plan. The result is a better product in your hands.
