And I'd like to know if orders are already being processed, at least for the people who bought the first edition, and if the pre-order status has been updated for anyone in the first batch.

No ETA on when the Founder's Edition will ship. All I can say is "soon" and by tomorrow we will be one day closer to the shipping date.

My toxic trait is expecting "shipped" status to appear on 0:01AM, June 1st. But I know that these things take time, so it's more likely to be closer to 10th or 15th, I guess...

TLDR - Based on your question you seem to be referring to the pre-orders directly from Prusa? If so, there's no chance Prusa will ship anything in the next 3-4 weeks. Maybe they'll get some units out the door by the very end of the month but it'll likely be a slow roll-out. This is typical enough when pre-ordering from Prusa, so no need to panic, but a good thing to know when you're ordering from them. There are also some other factors slowing things down which I get into more below.

The first thing to be aware of if you are new to Prusa Pre-Orders, is they are notoriously known not to ship until the very last day of their target ship window. So don't expect anything to leave a warehouse until at least the last day of that commitment, in this case June 30th. There is a common belief also that Prusa likely only ship out a handful of units to say they met that target 🤣, but that's likely just cynicism from people being salty from waiting!
The other thing to note, although not widely shared, the people that ordered the founders edition directly from Bondtech are still waiting for theirs to ship. There was an issue identified by Bondtech which seemingly has resulted in some rework and testing of the printhead. They informed the founders edition purchasers directly over email 2-3 weeks back but they are not committing to when it will be ready to ship. The position from Bondtech is they will only ship once the product is at a standard they are happy with. Which is good for all of us as consumer but painful to have to wait. Bondtech have noted that their first priority when ready is ensure all founders edition customers, which pre-ordered last November, have their orders shipped before they provide units directly to Prusa.
All this does make the probability of a delay on Prusa end high but not definite. While there are 4 weeks left in June, based on that I would expect a slow roll-out. I know from other discussion over discord Prusa are holding off any formal comms until they are sure it'll impact their release timelines.

In Sweden the School holidays will start in two weeks, in Prague in 4 weeks... And since we have worker rights over here in Europe, everyone will take their 3 week vacation in that period. (And they deserve it!) So all companies will work half the workforce for the next two months. So don't count on a massive rollout when Bondtech Gives their final blessing. I ordered within 20 minutes when Prusa opened up the pre-orders, and I'm counting on August at the soonest. ( its not my first picknick with Prusa pre orders 😉

Newcomers to Prusa just need to research the delivery schedule before committing to avoid disappointment. I know I wish I had, but I was very happy when my Core one did arrive ☺️

I would say that’s a bit of a generalisation and sweeping statement. Yes we have greater rights and entitlements around number of days off etc versus others. but timing of holidays and approval is still considered at employers discretion. Depending on your job, it’s criticality, size of the company or if you work in public versus private how this is managed will vary greatly. Yes more people take holidays in this period but It doesn’t mean everywhere shuts down for July or August. Also not everyone has kids or kids of school age. Productivity will be reduced but staggering of annual leave amongst employees within a company is a standard practice to keep this impact to a minimum. If Prusa were concerned about this factor they wouldn’t have chosen June for the target launch.

I've been ordering at prusa for a lot of years now (I have 6 prusa printers and a lot of extra stuff) and I have yet to experience a single "Shipping starts at..." statement that is accurate to within 3 months
INDX wise, I missed the founder edition but I did get in pretty quick on the second round.
When I saw the "starts shipping in june 2026", I automatically read that as "probably by the end of the year" 😉
I still keep hoping that I'm wrong about such things though.

nice bit of info. If Bondtech is finishing the test and will ship our founder's stuff say, next week, they will then send to Prusa their parts and probably the first box will leave Prusa's warehouse 1 min to midnight on the 30th of June 😀
technically possible, logistics... a really tight frame but hey, if it works ...
I will be happy to see my FE box from Bondtech underway soon... the Bondtech websites still has no "shipped" status on my FE order.

Thanks, id be surprised if all the direct from Prusa orders all arrive by end of August. While Prusa seem to start shipping “on time”, the time to fulfil all orders seems to slip almost always.

On the founders, both Olaf and Gustav from Bondtech did elude to shipping likely to start soon. At this point though they could have 100s of boxes packed and almost ready but likely hesitant to commit anything until one is in the back for a truck on its way out

They've said "soon" for the last 3 months. At this point I'll just wait for the shipping notice and stop planning around the date.

Agree that even if it arrived mid-June, I doubt I'd be able to get to it until mid-July. However I remember seeing somewhere that Tommy said it's around a 6hr build?

Since I got my FE order in, I've cleared some space on a bench for the build, but it's been so long, there seems to be a moss where the space was 😅
It is what it is, at least we're getting something Bondtech are happy with, instead of inheriting teething problems.
