Sold my H2D....

Already own a Core One +...

I print things off all sizes....

Sold my H2d goos printer but I dislike BL as a company... I can't support a brand with such philosophy and background.

Am I making a mistake for wanting the L?

Depends on what you need it for. The reason I bought the H2D was I needed an actively heated chamber 350° hot end and a second nozzle for support material. I also don’t like Bambu the company but still like the printer. I despise Elon but I’ll probably buy another Tesla.

But Elon isn't actively stealing or inserting undetectable spyware. Lol Here in Canada, all dji drones have been banned for anything government related. Just one example.

Unanswerable question.

Consider the equivalent: "Am I making a mistake for wanting a 14mm spanner?" - it all depends on whether you have 14mm nuts to turn.

As @hyiger implies, if you already have a 3D printer then a second might be an unjustifiable luxury or a near essential, it all depends on which specific features you anticipate requiring and how hard it would be to effect them with your existing equipment.

There is one major argument for:  If your existing printer is close to maxed out and you expect to need to print twice as much then an additional printer makes complete sense - deciding which model then becomes one of picking which will most enhance your capabilities.

Cheerio,

RE: Sold my H2D....

I still have my Core One. At this exact moment it’s doing a TPU print. It’s much easier to print TPU with C1 than on the H2X. I’m also patiently waiting for the INDX to ship. The C1 will be the multi-color printer and the H2C (upgraded H2D) will be the engineering printer.

RE: Sold my H2D....

I’ve read that the upgrade from H2D to H2C isn’t for the faint-hearted, even Bambu Lab advices against it unless you’re a very competent and skilled user, which no doubt you’re, but still... Anyway, considering that the upgrade is far from cheap, it occurs to me that if you sold the H2D, like Print fandango, and then you purchased a new H2C you’d save a lot of work/trouble and it wouldn’t cost you much more than the upgrade, provided you sold the H2D for a reasonable price.

Just my five cents.

BTW I’ve heard that the people awaiting for the INDX to ship are nominated for the “Job Awards” of this year. You have 99% chances of winning, if you ask me.

Can I see the previews ?. Not anymore.

The wonders of the Prusa forums have no equal in the Internet. 😘

RE: Sold my H2D....

@Artur5 the only reason I got the upgrade for the H2D was I was tired of waiting (seemingly forever) for the INDX and needed to do a multicolor project on a deadline. Also, the cost of it didn't factor into my decision and selling stuff (for me) is more trouble than it's worth. The upgrade itself wasn't that bad.

As for the forum website, Prusa developers have already been notified and they are investigating.

So your Bambu Lab has become already a H2C ?. Good for you.

Yes, Prusa developers have been notified (years ago in fact ) about the issues. Maybe in a few years more they will address the problem once and for all. I hope to live long enough to see that, but I'm not holding my breath.
