Bondtech INDX on CoreOneL

Conformation that INDX will be on the Core One
https://blog.prusa3d.com/think-big-print-big-introducing-the-prusa-core-one-l_124294/

I think 9 tools will fit - but it is not going to be cheap.   Base CoreOneL price $1,799 - INDX I think we be at least $700 on top of that - so about $2,500 for a fully populated CoreOneL INDX.

For those that don't need 9 tools - 4 tools for example would I think cost around $2,300.

Speculative pricing comparison by me here.

On the Snapmaker U1 doesn't the standard model come with 4 tool heads? I don't know... If a 4 head Core One upgrade is cheaper than getting a new U1 then I'll probably hang on to the C1. Otherwise...

Yes - Snapmaker U1 is only 4 tools as standard - but 8 INDX tools would fit in their place I think.

Although in practice I suspect that Snapmaker will be adding an MMU type add-on at some point when people find 4 colours is not enough - personally I use 11 or 12.

The U1 is in my table twice - once in the INDX section, and lower down in its standard config.

RE:

Why does the product launch only mentions the MMU3?

An XL5 kit is $3k.  Assembled is $3800 IIRC.  That’s for 5 and probably $1500 less, plus you get the enclosure and heating.

Really want to know the time frame one the Core300 with the INDX.  I have a CORE1 and an MMU3 sitting that I haven’t been able to assemble yet.  I’d far prefer a Core300INDX.  Actually, what I really want is a Core300 that can print PEEK, PEKK, LCP and some other high end engineering polymers.

Who wants to start the order spreadsheet for the new CORE printer…
