Weird solid fill surface inconsistency
Anyone have any ideas what is causing such a rough surface? It seems to clean up by the end of the print, but sometimes I hear a grinding noise which I think is from the nozzle hitting the rough surface.
It is polylite ABS, which does not have an official profile. I am printing at 255C, 0.2mm balanced profiles. I have completley dried the filament, done PA testing, and I even did a cold pull because I thought it was a partial clog.
I would also note that I have had extrusion issues before with other filaments, where the first layer laid down has weird rib patterns perpendicular to the direction of extrusion, almost like the extruder is skipping but I don't hear that. This issue also resolves itself by the final top layer, and is only visible when flipping parts over.
