Printing PETG: what can be causing this?
Just got my Core One, super happy so far but had a weird issue with PETG - I just used the defaults for Generic PETG and used a spool I didn't dry beforehand. My place is quite humid, actually (62%). What am I doing wrong, or should I just have dried the filament before printing? It feels weird that it was just for a small portion of the print.
Thanks!
RE: Printing PETG: what can be causing this?
Hi , for me , when i have first print PETG with the core one , i was disappointed, because the print was not great .I was using the generic petg profile , i have try many thing without success (multiplier, temp.,etc...).At last ,i have i try to use the prusament PETG profile and that seems to cure my problem ....hope this help....
RE: Printing PETG: what can be causing this?
I always dry petg. Well I always dry all my filaments as new filament does guarantee dry filament.
Your problems are only on the one corner, so it is possible it is the seam.
Personally I've found the generic petg profile is a bit rubbish and frequently gives problematic seams. I prefer the prusa petg profile for my stuff. Sometime increase the temp by 10C if running speed profile too just to ensure good layer adhesion.
You already have your answer, that's classic wet filament...
Cheerio,

also , i forgot to tell that , with the petg prusament profile , i have increase the temp by 5C (255c) , my print are perfect now....
