Just stopped working
Hi,
I have been printing with my core one for two weeks without problems. PLA and PETG. I used a file from printable without any issues. I tried to print from the same author and project and nothing seems to want to stick to my print base (using textured base). I have cleaned the base with IPA.
I have not changed any settings and now I can't get any results. Same roll of Prusa PETG filament. I tired another file and the results are the same.
Can anyone help?
RE: Just stopped working
IPA moves oil around if it's there. Wash with hot soapy water, using dish soap without lotion. I also found recommendations (and followed with good results) to use a dish cleaning abrasive to lightly scuff the textured plate - plastic equivalent to steel-wool.

As @CJD pointed out, you need to keep the Prusa textured (or Satin) plates clean. IPA is only good to use occasionally, after that it has to be soap and water. Instead though I recommend you pick up the BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier I haven't cleaned my plate in 2 months except for an occasional (i.e. rare) wipe-down with IPA.

The speed at which residues build up seems in part to depend on the particular pigment(s) in the filament. The speed at which fingerprints build up depends on your handling habits.
IPA is good for wiping the 'worst' out of the way but HOT water and dishwashing detergent does the best job of general cleaning.
Be cautious about abrading the surface of the sheet, save it for last resort situations as you are shortening its working life.
Cheerio.
