Consistent fails to print Nozzle Change tool

Hi,

I'm a newcomer to 3d printing, Prusa Core One is my first printer. I've printed and designed (in Fusion 360) few simple models successfully, so the printer itself seems to be working.

I have been trying to print the "Nozzle Change tool" model for a dozen times with different setups, and it is failing consistently.

I have tried at least the following

 - PLA, PETG (mostly been trying with PETG)
 - Fills 10-20-50-100%
 - 0.4mm original nozzle, 0.4mm obXidian, 0.6mm obXidia
 - Printing it on it's back, printing it standing freely
 - with and without brim, with supports..

I've also updated firmware and slicer's running on latest version.

I'm running out of ideas. Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong or what I could try next? I see people printing this successfully so many times.

All the best,

Samuli

Hard to tell but this looks like the nozzle is colliding with the print. Check that the heat block assembly is properly inserted into the nextruder and that the thumbscrews are tight.

Also. have you checked that the belt tension is correct and that the gantry is square?

I would suggest opening a chat session with Prusa support and they can guide you through correcting this.

Have you tried printing one of the pre-sliced bgcode files?

Cheerio,

I reached out to Prusa support and after a bunch of troubleshooting they decided to send me a new extruder -- it's still not clear what's wrong.

Once I receive it I'll give it a try and post an update to this thread.

Thanks for the help so far!
