Add PLA lubricant to my print? For noise.
I am re-working this model of the Zyusouken from Zyuranger. It's turning out very well, so far. I modified the 3 keys to be spring loaded and moveable. I just used some springs I bought at the hardware store.
But... They creak whenever I use them. It works. It's noisy.
I was reading into lubricant I can use on PLA. This particular mechanism works. It's not performing any serious action beyond being a fidget toy. It's just noisy. Refer to the yellow section. I am using a hollow chamber and a plunger that works the spring and keeps the keys in place.
Any ideas on a good lubricant that will work on a spring and PLA? Preferably one that won't change the color of the plastic.

Aerosol silicone spray will work on PLA and metal. It won't react with the plastic and it isn't a forever chemical such as PTFE.

Try trumpet piston oil, the finest viscosity produced.
