Zebra-like patern on exterior perimeter

Hello,
I have the core one+ for a good month now (buy fully assembly) and I noticed a zebra like patern forming more and more on the angle exterior perimeter. The printer is on the floor and not wobbly.  For now i tried ajusting the belt without succes.
I find nothing similar on other post.

But then have to factor in number of print hours. One month I put 400 hrs on my printer. But it could also be extruder motor issues as well.

Matte filament is much less abrasive than CF or GF which can mess up a brass nozzle after only 2 or 3 prints but after 1 month of heavy usage I can see nozzle wear being an issue.

It never hurts to try a different nozzle and see if the problem goes away. It's wise to always have spare nozzles on hand incase of intractable jams or wear (especially if brass).

It could be worn nozzle. What type of nozzle are you using and what type of filament have you used with it?

It's the default 0.4 nozzle shipped with the printer. I only printed with PLA matte from bambu.

Some matte PLA are actually abrasive and should be printed with a hardened nozzle. For example, white matte often contains calcium carbonate or talc. So you probably wore down the nozzle. Even non-abrasive filaments will eventual cause nozzle wear. My advice is to spend the extra money to get a hardened nozzle. E3D Obxidian is a good choice.

OP said printer is just a month old, I can't really see the nozzle wear down so quickly (but then again, what do I know, as I have been running Obxidian nozzles exclusively for years)

Would also check the grub screws on the motors to make sure they're tight.

And for questions like this it's always helpful to upload the zip compressed 3mf project file so we can see if any changed settings might be to blame.

Does that print uses gyroid infill? Looks a bit like it.

Try printing with no infill, or increase the number of perimeters to see if that sorts it out.

It does look like a "sad benchie" (which cheered up, IIRC, with a new nozzle)

Yes, looks very similar, that was a 0.6mm HF nozzle printing with 0.4mm standard flow settings in both printer and slicer. Printed surprisingly well so it took me a while to suspect the nozzle.

I've put 350h in the last month (with only Matte PLA), I'm gonna try another nozzle and see if that resolves the problem.

It's always a good test. If you have the same pattern with a new nozzle then at least we can eliminate nozzle wear as the cause.

Generally though, as a nozzle wears down the width increases and not always symmetrically. Over time a 0.4mm brass nozzle will start behaving more like a 0.6 or 0.8 nozzle. For example, you will get very similar patterns if  you accidentally mount at 0.6mm nozzle and send it g-code sliced for a 0.4mm nozzle.
