Y motor appears to seize and cause both x and y calibrations to fail
I had about 3 successful prints, then on the 4th one half way through the extruder appeared stuck and unable to move in certain directions.
After this, I was unable to pass calibration, but also noticed I could not freely move the extruder left or right, with the motors disabled.
After some more inspecting, it seems that the Y motor is able to turn briefly, but then locks up as seen in the video and heard by the clicks.
If forcing the belt to move, the belt itself will jump the motors teeth, nothing seems to free the motor at this point.
Could there be any other steps I should take?
RE: Y motor appears to seize and cause both x and y calibrations to fail
I am running into this same issue after a few prints on a fully assembled printer. I was able to free the Y motor by loosening the belt tension enough to get the belt off the motor and unscrew it and pull it out to freely spin it by hand. I re-assembled and tension everything the printer prints fine on smaller items with short movements but once I try larger prints the Y axis motor make noises and slips causing layer shifts.

If I was in your position, my very first step would be to reach out to customer support via chat.

RE: Y motor appears to seize and cause both x and y calibrations to fail
Just to provide an update, I reached out to support and compared the resistance of both motors during the chat, and they suggested a new Y-motor is needed and have shipped a new one out to me.
