X-axis help
Pardon a stupid question -- my x-calibration started failing, and I wonder if I need to tighten the belt. I've had all kind of problems with the y-axis, but now the x-axis too.
I may have my terminology incorrect as I have been searching for articles on how to adjust the x-axis belt but everything I find refers to the y-axis or to the wrong printer.
If I want to tighten the belt that runs left-to-right on the core one, can someone point me to where I can learn about that? All my searches turn up the wrong results. Thank you
RE: X-axis help
Ah, I see now that it is all one belt, so my question doesn't make much sense. Nevertheless, I am getting x-axis calibration failures intermittently. Is it expected that the way to resolve this is by following the y-axis calibration steps, including the "bending" to get things into alignment?
RE: X-axis help
Strange issue... The Y-Axis test is a completely different thing, since it hits both front end-stops at the same time (if it's perfect), but for the X-Axis, it simply hits one side and is "done".
Is something loose or blocking a clean "side hit"? Maybe something sticking to the part where the print head hits the side?
Sadly, I've got no idea, why the X-Axis would fail, if everything is "fine" with the CoreXY frame.
