Unknown error bluescreen on bootup...
Hi Guys!
I am seeing the occasional "Unknown error" bluescreen with my pre-assembled Core ONE+ during bootup.
I'll add a screenshot when it happens again. The problem seems to disappear when i switch it off and on again (the trusted ITCrowd method).
Did anybody else see this?
Maybe i should reflash the firmware. Or reformat the USB-Stick or something like that.
The machine is still stock. I just added the filtration kit on the back - hooked up the fan - and the webcam. The USB-Cable for it was already in place.
Thank you,
Tobias

No, it’s a bug in the bootloader not the firmware. It was reported to Prusa back in August. Just ignore it for now. Reflashing the firmware won’t help.

Instead of turning it off and on again, you can also press the Reset button on the front panel -- a bit more convenient to reach.
As hyiger said, the error is in the boot loader; hence it can only occur at startup and does not imply any instability during printing. I find it annoying anyway: I often just turn my printer on and head straight back from the workshop to my desk, to prepare and send the print. And the delay until the bluescreen strikes is just long enough for me to make it out of the door, only to be called back by the error message beeps...
