Prusa Core One - Belt Resonance Off The Scale

I have recently been experiencing issues with prints on my Prusa Core One. Small details it used to handle just fine would come out broken. Keeping an eye on it, I noticed it appeared to be pushing bits down, bending details as it printed. As I was trying to troubleshoot this, I checked the belt tension. It turns out for my belts, the top belt resonates in the high 80's, while the lower one is set at the mid 70's. The manual tension setting told me this was far too low, and the gantry must be unaligned. The problem is, it isn't. Both sides sit perfectly flush. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Prusa Core One - Belt Resonance Off The Scale

Check that the motor pulleys are tight. Mine loosened after the first month and there have been a number of posts related to the symptoms of this (including extreme layer shifts). For each pulley, loosen both screws a bit. Tighten the one on the flat first, wiggling the pulley back and forth as you do to ensure it sits centered on the flat. Then tighten the other screw.  Now redo the belt tension.  With a slightly loose pulley the belt will not get enough vibration from the motor to use the app for tensioning.   After I redid this it has been great for 4 months of steady use.
