Problem with autoretraction

Hello everyone,

I'm encountering a very strange issue with my printer, and I'm hoping someone here might have some insight.

I recently tested **firmware version 6.4.0**. Shortly after the update, my printer started exhibiting the behavior seen in the video below, specifically during **auto-retraction**.

**Crucially, this problem only occurs when printing with PLA.**

### 🛠️ What I have already tried:

1. **Material Swap:** I tried a different spool of PLA from a **different manufacturer**. The issue persists

**Nozzle Change:** I installed a **new nozzle**. No change.

3. **Firmware Downgrade:** I **downgraded back to the stable firmware 6.3.4**. Unfortunately, the problem is now permanent and *still only happens with PLA*.

### 🎥 The Issue:"The extruder makes a clicking/thumping sound and briefly fails to push filament during retraction."

Since the issue started immediately after the 6.4.0 update and is now persisting even after reverting the firmware, I'm quite stuck. The fact that ASA/PETG/etc. works fine but all PLA fails suggests it's related to the specific thermal/flow characteristics of PLA, perhaps something was permanently changed or calibrated by 6.4.0 that 6.3.4 didn't fully revert.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue after updating to 6.4.0 (or any other firmware)? Any suggestions on what might be causing a *PLA-specific* extrusion failure that persists across different nozzles and firmware versions?

Thank you for your time and help!
