print quality help vertical ridge on side

hi everyone i am new to 3d printing

 may i know how to fix the vertical ridge defect? it is PLA default setting 0.2mm structure. filament is dry below 40% RH

That looks like the seam where it starts+ends the loop, you can give scarf joints a try on a test piece. For most of my prints scarfs joints are a massive improvement, but for features like thin walls it can a detriment, depending on the filament.

Yeah you're always going to to get that on fdm, it's especially noticeable on objects that have no sharp corners, eg cylinders or parts with heavily filleted corners.
I purposely integrate some sort of sharp edged feature on my parts where the seam can hide, on most parts you have to really look for it to even notice its there.
