Orca Slicer profile?
Hi!
Does anyone succeeded to add CORE One profile in Orca Slicer?
I want to use some Orca Slicer features but I don't know how to add the printer in it.
Thanks!
RE: Orca Slicer profile?
Ok, I found out that it's already implemented on the nightly build of Orcaslicer here.

Thanks for this! I was wondering why the current release didn't have ANY prusa printers other then the XL.
Out of curiosity, I'm assuming Ocra doesn't allow for / work with Prusa Connect?

The bigger release will take a bit of time until the Core One will be in the list, but the profiles are getting some updates, so there are people working on it and the nightly builds work without really changing anything.
Orca allows for both, in theory. But Prusa screwed something up with the Connect Tokens or something like that (I've researched that at the end of a night-session..), so it's currently broken and only Prusa can fix it.
However, Prusa Link works fine, so you can start prints directly from within Orca Slicer and watch the temperatures etc.
RE:
it was interesting to try it out…. Certainly not an awful experience. Does bambu actually base their slicer on that one? I can see if that’s the case where it would be very helpful if you were using Orca and had one of each type of printer,… but if I recall, they locked down their stuff?

Prusa Slicer is based on Slic3r, Bambu Studio is based on Prusa Slicer and Orca Slicer is based on Bambu Studio, but isn't brand specific, so also includes all kinds of other printers.
It's a bit complex at first, but I think I prefer the UI overall and since I'm printing a lot of functional parts, that also need a pretty first layer, which are often quite thin/sharp in some spots:
Having the clickable mouse ears brims from Bambu Studio are a massive reason for me to move to Orca.
That, and the feature to set your external perimeters to the "prettiest", best speed for VFAs and not having it slow down is just nice.
I'll try to report back, when I've dialled it in to my liking. It's already printing quite nicely though!
