Nextruder clicking and not feeding filament
This just started today after a print failed. I read all I could find and thus have done the following.
Suspecting a clogged nozzle, and unable to unclog it on the machine, I removed the nozzle, heated it with my heat gun, and with the aid of the supplied needle, I was able to feed filament manually. I then fed cleaning filament through the nozzle until no residue was coming out with that filament. Reinstalling the nozzle proved that the problem was not solved.
I then disassembled and cleaned the gear assembly, but that also did not solve the issue.
I have tried loosening and tightening the screws that provide tension to the idler to no avail.
I'm at a loss for what to do next, short of swapping nozzles between my MK3.9 and the Core One.
Any suggestions?

I installed the HF nozzle from my Mk3.9S, and now the Core One is working fine. I have already put about 10 hours on the printer since the install, so "Problem Solved". I have ordered a replacement HF nozzle and an adaptor to use my E3D nozzles.
RE: Nextruder clicking and not feeding filament
My printer says around 7 days of print since I've assembled it.
Yesterday, after 10 hours of print I can see broken print by loosing flow at nextruder (which started clicking). Today I've cleaned up nozzle (cold pull && cleaning needle) and I can't find out how to fix the same issue - clicking nextruder, inconsistent flow, etc ... can't print anything.
I rechecked that everything should be assembled correctly but don't know how to fix that.

Please keep the door open if it is PLA or even PETG.
RE: Nextruder clicking and not feeding filament
Which nozzles are you using guys ?.
RE: Nextruder clicking and not feeding filament
Default nozzle, delivered with assembly kit - HF 0.4.

In reply as the OP, the above picture is not related to my specific issue. The issue occurs even when the door and lid are open, and I am using a 0.4 mm High Flow nozzle, as well as a filament that I have used successfully for several years.
RE: Nextruder clicking and not feeding filament
Do you see the filament being ground by the nextruder's gear? When you pull it out how does it look?
Or is filament dead-stuck and the clicking is from the step motor losing step (nextruder has a lot of torque thanks to gearing, so I'd say it's less likely to happen than it was on the MK3)
After you performed the cold pull did you look through the nozzle, was it actually free, could you see through it?
Can you check the hotend temperature, is it hot enough to melt the filament? If you don't have an optic thermometer you can just touch the nozzle with a filament stran, does it melt? If the thermistor lies the printer might think the nozzle is hot enough when it's not and the filament can't go through.

I changed the nozzle lately at one of our MK4S. It had done a lot of ESD PETG before. Poking with the the acupuncture needle, cold pulls and manual feeding looked ok. Yet, feeding by the extruder gear resulted in clicking. Same story. I even took a close view with our high res Fluke infrared camera. Nozzle temperature was ok. (Be aware of emission coeff of blanc metal). The new 0.4 mm non-high flow nozzle has worked flawlessly since. I put the old one aside. Maybe one could clean it with a hot gun and tungsten welding rod like some did on V6 heatbreaks. Though in case of the nextruder nozzle you can not simply push it through.
RE: Nextruder clicking and not feeding filament
The filament is not getting ground. I don't think you can see through an HF nozzle. After further searching and reading, I think I'll switch to a standard nozzle and possibly also the adapter, so that I can utilize my small collection of old E3D-style nozzles.

Not sponsored or anything at all, but I wanted a nozzle for printing glow-in-the-dark, CF filaments etc. and bought the Phaetus SiC in 0.4 & 0.6 mm.
Both print flawlessly, are rather cheap and didn't require any real adjustments.
17-25 bucks shipping incl., depending on the shop (there's a Phaetus shop on Ali too).
If you don't need a hardened nozzle or already have some in your E3D V6 collection, you don't need the Phaetus nozzle, ofc.

I am having the same issue. It's my first 3D printer and I've tried removing the nozzle and it seems clear as well. Did you ever make any progress on this?
RE: Nextruder clicking and not feeding filament
Probably not the issue here, but I had an issue a couple of months ago with the extruder skipping. A ~1mm length of PCCF filament had broken off and found its way just interior of the idler door hinge. The door seemed to close normally, but apparently that piece of broken filament was keeping the idler from engaging fully. Given the color of the filament, the viewing angle, and the lighting it was really hard to see and identify the issue.

Do you know how your change solved the issue? What would you recommend me?
I am in the same situation as all the other people here. It seems to be a thermal issue, but the room temperature is a lot lower now than in the first days, when I had no issues at all.
I have >21.000 printing hours on Prusa MINI's, and 200 hours on my first CORE One. But I have no idea how to proceed.

Mate can you link to the one you bought from Aliexpress please? Im bound to buy some fake rubbish if I try to find it myself 😂

I bought a Phaetus 0.4 and 0.6 from Levendigs : https://levendigs.com/collections/prusa-parts-upgrades/products/phaetus-prusa-nozzle-for-nextruder-silicone-carbide
I bought the 0.4 as a bundle with a plated copper heat block, thermistor, heater and sock, and I made up a similar bundle for the 0.6. I have only good things to say about the service from Levendigs.
I’ve only used the 0.6 so far, and only for one print, but it worked fine.
