Function of the manual switch in the filament sensor of the CORE One +

Hello,

I received the parts yesterday to upgrade my CORE One to CORE One+. Unfortunately, I can't find any instructions for the manual switch on the filament sensor. Depending on the switch position, the orange component is visible in the small "X" window. What does the "ON" position correspond to? What is the purpose of this switch?

Thanks for your help!

If you move it to OFF, the filament sensor stays open so you can insert soft materials such as TPU easily. Not sure how useful that is though because I never had problems getting TPU through the side sensor, my problem is getting it into the main extruder filament sensor.

For the main extruder, the mod is to remove the spring and replace with a magnet of the same size but with the poles reversed so they repel. Not sure why Prusa doesn't do this as standard. Also, replacing the Bowden bend with one having a larger radius of curvature makes it easier to get the filament into the nextruder without having to remove the tube.

Where's the "main extruder" mod parts?  Nothing in my kit has any such magnets, springs, etc.  Thus I'll assume you are talking about some other user mod for the printer? Any references to said mod to see details, printable parts like the different bend Bowden curve??
