First week using Core One, lots of issues. Some tips for people experiencing problems such as mine

I've collected links to forum topics that have answers to the follow problems:

  1. Feet not sticking - Anti Vibration feet not sticking.
  2. Issues with USB Stick not recognized - Problems with my brand new Core One
  3. For head banging, load cell failures such as nozzle cleaning failures etc - Z axis trouble but only when printing
  4. VFA issues - VFA Artifacts on X+Y Straight Edges
  5. Crashing on long diagonal prints - Core One crash/restart

In hindsight I should have waited another 3 months after receiving my mk4s conversion kit 3 weeks ago. The build itself was long, fun and mostly uneventful. Except for the fact that the feet don't stay on. The adhesive is terrible, so I peeled it off and glued on the feet. I loaded the Core ONE firmware onto my Prusa USB stick, turned the printer on and it wasn't recognized. I tried a different one in my junk drawer and that worked. After flashing the firmware and rebooting I started a 3DBenchy, immediately there was a homing error after banging on the corner 20 times. Turns out the belts were too loose so that was easy to solve. After a few small prints I started getting load cell failures after homing. Found a gcode patch for that. Then I had trouble with VFA's. On recommendation I tuned my belts to around 96hz which made only minimal improvement. Then I had the printer crash and reboot several times on long diagonal prints. Turns out the X-motor housing needed to be grounded. I feel like I'm a beta tester for Prusa.
