Crash detection not working
I recently had a crash happen where the tool ran into the print. However, the CoreOne didn’t detect it as a crash and happily continued to print at a large offset. One perhaps key aspect is that the crash didn’t happen on the nozzle, but at the part cooling fan shroud (the cause of the crash was some incorrect custom g-code).
My previous MK3 would detect crashes by looking at current spikes in the stepper motor drivers, so would have detected a crash like this. Is it correct that the CoreOne only detects crashes using the nozzle load cell (meaning it won’t detect a crash not involving the nozzle) or should it still pay attention the stepper motor drivers as well?
Thanks
