crash detection in stealth mode?
I came home to my build plate wedged 45° in the build chamber with a failed print scattered around it. Additionally, the part cooling shroud was hanging on one loose screw. The other screw had completely fallen out. Clearly the hotend took a beating and tore the steel sheet off the heated bed. The printer reported that the print is 100% finished.
I know crash detection got disabled in MK3 silent mode, but I expected it to work on a core one.
So the question is: does the core one have crash detection when it is in stealth mode? What does it take to trigger the detection?
btw: I reinstalled the missing screw and tightened both of them. Now it is printing (in normal mode) again without signs of permanent damage.
RE: crash detection in stealth mode?
I believe Core One doesn't have crash detection at all because of the input shaping (and neither do MK4(S))
