Bed position reads 0 and wont go up

I was mid print and ran out of filament. While waiting for more to arrive I had some electricians over. They ended up cutting power to the circuit my Core One is on for an extended period of time. Once back online I decided to abandon the print and attempted to reset it by doing a homing operation. Here's where I think I massively messed up, I forgot to remove the print. As it was Z homing it made contact with the plastic part that is around the nozzle. The homing failed with a 31301 error. In order to remove the print I used the control screen to move the bed down. This time I did an X/Y homing and loadcell test before the Z axis test. Both passed without issue but the Z axis failed again with the same error. The control panel now reads 0mm with the bed almost all the way down and refuses to go up any further. The Z axis test moves the front right lead screw a bit but none of the other screws rotate at all. During the test it made a loud noise like it was trying to move but encountered resistance. The bed is level and I have loosened the trapezoid nuts and ensured they can all move freely.

How do I go about fixing this?

Best Answer by RogerSmith:

The tried and true turn it off and back on again fixed everything.

If you ever get it again buddy don't panic. There's supposed to be power resume on Core One for power cuts, but the 2 times I've needed it, it hasn't ended well.

On the Z:0 problem, just remove the print from the build plate, and run 'Auto Home' from the menu. It will work out where the bed is automatically and you'll be good to go.

I've just accepted now if there's a loss of power during a print, it goes in the bin and we go again.
