After firmware upgrade, first layer not sticking, melting into build plate

I have upgraded to the latest firmware. I did a self test and all passed. My first indication of an issue was that the build plate was not detected. I verified sheet was clean and nozzle was clean. First print job just began to etch into my build plate. I removed the filament, reran all the self test which passed again. Went to start print and it just dug into the build plate. Please help. Should i downgrade the firmware. Print is sliced with latest Prusa slicer 2.9.2, build plate came with core one. and using Prusa PLA filament.

support found my issue, wasnt firmware... i am new and my unit only came with one thumb screw holding the nozzle. It somehow came loose and this is why it etched my plate. Customer service was wonderful and are sending me the second screw and new build plate. Awesome customer service.

Glad it was resolved and a relatively easy fix, but for an assembled unit to come with a pretty obvious missing piece is rather worrying!
