Advanced filtration with PLA
I just got my adv. filtration unit installed. It works well and all, but while printing PLA the chamber fan turns completely off and the filtration fan is at ~20%. This means the chamber temp rises to ~34C when printing, which isn't ideal. Before I had installed the adv filtration the chamber fans would keep the temperature at 25C. I had to manually command the printer to turn up the chamber and filtration fans. I just chose to do 100% filter and 40% chamber bc it felt right. Is the low speed for PLA intentional?
I am on 6.3.3, and I have adv. filtration selected in the menus.
RE: Advanced filtration with PLA
Following... I just installed it too. I have not printed with it yet but I am getting the idea that it might be better to remove it when you are not using it and revert the settings. I am going to go back and not bundle the extra cord in the back panel and leave the extra wire hanging so I have the length to remove the filter and set it down without unplugging it. I don't know if this is the intended pattern of use or what? I feel like a lot more instructions on this thing would be very helpful. The last step was as clear as mud. More information on how to use the DIY setting.. etc. I feel like there seems to be the idea only previous users bought the Core One. I am not new to 3d printing but I am new to Prusa, and many of the bells and whistles this machine has. A user manual not just install and set up instructions would be good.
