Accelerometer calibration

I ordered an accelerometer and installed it today on my Core One.

I followed the instructions here:  https://belt.connect.prusa3d.com/   and set the tensions according to that calibration procedure.  The belts are now set at the new values.

Then, I went through the accelerometer procedure.  After the thing completed I got this:

How far off is this from the "default" values?

Also, what happens when a new firmware gets installed?  Do I need to go through this calibration procedure all over again?

I printed a small model, and to be honest, I did not notice a huge difference.  Perhaps this will become more apparent on a larger model.

RE: Accelerometer calibration

Hello,

The current values for the input shaper can be viewed in the menu ("calibration" I think, I can never remember for certain might be settings).

To perform phase stepping calibration you need firmware 6.3.4 or later.  Earlier versions had the ability to launch the phase stepping calibration with a G-code but it was hit-and-miss whether the calibration would run/succeed/crash.  Firmware 6.3.4 added the Phase stepping calibration to the menu and it seems to work reliably for everyone who has reported on the forum.
