0.6 HF nozzle
Hello everyone. I'm a new cOre One user and I want to buy a 0.6 HF nozzle. Which one should I choose?
If you are a new user, none.
HF is (mostly) for impatient users who don't care much about the quality of their work and are just reproducing other's designs. It never speeds their printing by as much as they imagine as it's increased output is only possible on the longer extrusion runs.
- and HF introduces another source of potential problems for a new user.
A regular 0.6 nozzle will increase output 'though also by not as much as you might expect and it will make strong parts whilst remaining much easier to troubleshoot or cold pull if you experience partial clogs with 'exotic' filaments. Regular brass 0.6 will allow you to use woodfill and similar with a much lower chance of clogging; get a hardened nozzle if you intend to use metal fill, CF or other abrasive filaments.
Cheerio,
