RE: Whats on the USB stick - missing due to box damage
EDIT: It seems that the "Power Panic" function is essentially the latter option I had assumed: Printer detects a power outage and still has enough power in the capacitors to place and leave everything in a defined state. So, does "Power Panic" replace "power loss recovery" in the more recent Prusa printers?
RE: Whats on the USB stick - missing due to box damage
My prusa memory stick that came with the Core One failed today. Nothing special happened. I finished one print, then sliced and sent another print to the machine - which didn't start. I'm looking at it unsure what was wrong - slicer on Prusa Connect tab showed a failure to upload the model to the printer. So back looking at the printer - no clue. Turned it off and on again and it came up complaining there was no memory stick installed.
Unplugged it and put it in my PC, came up as a RAW unformatted drive. Formatted it as FAT32 and back in the printer and all is working again. Only question is how this could have happened.
