Weird USB behavior.
Today I wiped the USB stick I’ve been using in my core one for a couple of months on my pc. When I reinstalled it, I showed “copying files” and for some reason a single object gcode file appears on the stick.
I thought the C1 has no internal memory, so how in the living hell is a previously printed file being copied back to an empty USB stick. Repeated several times, and the same file keeps appearing. Any ideas why, before I deal with the chat support queue… Thanks.
RE: Weird USB behavior.
Do you have a PrusaConnect account? Were you logged in? You probably had a job queued. Which then downloaded onto the USB drive.
RE: Weird USB behavior.
Did you previously send the file to your C1 using Prusa Connect? If you did check the queue in Connect. It will continue resending the file to your C1 until you clear the queue in Connect.
RE: Weird USB behavior.
Yep, I use connect to send to the printer. But this is a really, really old file. It was printed before Christmas. Once. Weird. I’ll go check my connect account and post back. Thanks,
RE: Weird USB behavior.
You were right. For some reason there were dozens of files still in queue, yet that one particular file kept appearing on the usb stick. I manually deleted them all and now it’s showing clear. Guess I’ll have to clear it manually, which kind of sucks.
