The Cryogrip Pro Glacier plate is an excellent cheaper alternative to the Satin plate with one minor caveat on the Core One
Picked up this plate BIQU CyroGip Pro Glacier for $23.99 (with a $6 coupon). Regularly it's $29.99 which is $17 cheaper than the Satin plate. PETG including very large prints have a much better first layer than I experienced with the Satin sheet. I printed ASA with a brim and had no issues. I don't have any rolls of PLA since I don't print with it anymore but I can imagine it should be fine. Apparently you can print Nylon on it without glue. I'll try that next. Same with TPU.
There is one minor caveat with the Core One. If you have the nozzle wiping mod, it is not compatible with this sheet due to the oversized grip. I'll have to open up FreeCad and make my own.

I wanted to add above that if you have Amazon Prime then it's actually ~$32 difference in price if you factor in the shipping costs.

One last thing, you can apparently run this plate 15c cooler than the satin plate for PLA and PETG. Trying that now.

And you can buy the bamboo one for some extra print area 🙂 Hope you can do some kind of test soon with some warp prone material

I did already for ASA on a large print and it came out OK. No warping off the plate. Will try Nylon next

I got one of those plates too. It's nice and prints h0ld really well. Did PETG and some PLA so far.
Have yet to try ASA.
Indeed the interference with the common wiper mods was annoying. I'm still considering to simply cut off the outer parts of the plate grip.
Not sure if I can be arsed to redesign a wiper to sit closer to the side.

I'm going to design one tonight after work. I'll paste a link here to Printables when I'm done. I also thought about taking a hacksaw to the print plate but I'll probably end up causing more damage.
RE: The Cryogrip Pro Glacier plate is an excellent cheaper alternative to the Satin plate with one minor caveat on the Core One
I am new to Core One as I only got around to building the kit 2 weeks ago, but I was using the same sheet on my mk3s+ without issues, so will have to give this a go.
I'm very happy at the fact that sheets are interchangeable between mk3 and core one, since I've a large collection of unused sheets as I randomly check the Prusa website for "seconds" every now and then, and have a nice collection of 6 or so unused sheets of various kinds.

I have that print plate for both the Core one and the H2D... it's all I run on the H2D... and would be on the Core One if it wasn't extended on the front and blocking the head cleaning mod I added.

The only negative (and it's very minor) to using those plates on a C1 is that the purge area is above some silkscreened text and it will tear it off. But like I said, it's so minor that I don't care about it.

I created a prototype that will work with the BIQU sheets. When I get home later I'll test it out and upload to Printables

You are my hero! Where do I send the doubloon to for that masterpiece? 😉

Just post a photo on Printables of your make and we'll call it even 🙂 I still need to tweak it slightly to get the screw hole lined up. The model is for a heated insert but I can do one with threads as well.

I've got a ts101 with lotsa inserts!! You are awesome, thank you!

Why not just cut off the print sheet. Did that too, because I have the wiper mod

Or use a wiper mod that works with any sheet and not damage the sheet? I've printed some samples in PETG and they fit (and work). I'll print next in PC-CF run a few more tests then upload to Printables

Here it is: Core One Universal Nozzle Wiper

There is already https://www.printables.com/model/1358382-prusa-core-one-nozzle-wiper-remix-cryogrip-pro-gla which works fine (I use it since about a month or so).

Yes, how long till Prusa just migrate to just doing a single plate for all machines? I bought the nylon plate at the same time as I bought my core one and at the time I didn't realize what the difference was between the sheets

Wasn't aware. OK, now there is another alternative.
