RE:
First I would like to say hello.
This is my first post and the Core One will be my first 3D printer. I've been following threads about Core One since January I think.
I decided to order on 6/16/2025 (kit ant prusament), expected to ship between 7/20/2025 and 7/26/2025 and yesterday it was moved by one day later.
I do not expect to receive my kit earlier, although I would be pleasantly surprised, but I hope I will not wait like some colleagues for 4-5 months..
UPDATE:
Since last Tuesday, the estimated shipping date has been delayed by one day every day. On Friday, I chatted with support and the lady assured me she would ask the shipping department to prioritize my order. This week, shipping dates continued to be delayed, but yesterday the order status changed from new to in progress, and I received the DPD labels that evening. They shipped the package today.
Ironically, I went on vacation today and tomorrow I'll be in the Czech Republic 🙂 I hope the package will be waiting for me when I get back.
I recommend chatting with support, maybe someone else can speed up shipping.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
What i've learned from this thread is that the shipping estimate isnt worth the electrons used to display it...
Ordered my kit with addons at the end of June with an estimate of 3-4 weeks hoping it'd arrive during my holiday which were in the same timeframe. Got my first estimate quickly but also had it pushed back by a single day not long after (going from 26th to 27th of July).
Then ,when checking the order on monday, i saw it got delayed by a week so at this point im just wondering what the point of the shipping table and order estimate is, just tell me that you haven't got a clue so i dont get my hopes up...
Definetly not a great first impression to make.

Funnily enough, I also ordered on 6/16. Ship date has now been pushed to "between 7/28/2025 and 8/3/2025". Will contact support if this doesn't change soon.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Today, my kit has finally started moving in my direction. But what can be said to those who are still stuck on the waiting list — or considering joining it?
Let’s be honest: the promised 3–4 week delivery time is pure fiction, and it’s clear this won’t change anytime soon. I waited seven weeks — and would’ve waited even longer had I not pushed the matter by contacting support directly (not the chat, which has unfortunately become useless) and threatening to cancel my order.
Frankly, I don't understand how some people are still waiting patiently for orders placed back in March, April, or May.
One thing that clearly had a negative impact was the company’s expansion into the US market. All their resources seem to have been diverted toward marketing and promotion, while customer care has been left by the wayside. Products are being sent to influencers, stores, and promo campaigns — and loyal customers are being ignored.
It’s a textbook case of aggressive marketing: it may generate profit in the first year, but the long-term consequences won’t take long to show.
It’s a shame. And to everyone still holding out as a loyal customer — I wish you patience.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
What im wondering is what the cause of all the delays is.
According to the 2024 tour they produced and shipped over 10.000 printers a month, a number im sure has only increased since then.
With the Core One situation being what it is i would have guessed the order number wouldnt be high enough to lead to such a backlog but the delays have to come from somwhere.
The other option is that Prusa is limiting the number of Core ones that are shipped while they work to iron out more of the issues but then again looking at the shipping table they provide it seems like pretty much everything they produce atm is going straight to a existing order.
I just wish there was more transparency when it came to this, the "a majority of orders will be shipped faster" on the same page just adds some extra frustration on my end.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I ordered in April 12th, yet my kit shipped on July 29th. Somehow my order was even put behind May and June orders... and it was only an upgrade kit in the order.
I did receive the obligatory apologies... but the entire pre-order experience felt a lot like a bad 3 month investment into a kickstarter that may not deliver. Looks like it made it into Indiana UPS hub today (the 31st), so I've just barely missed the August 1st 15% tariffs. I guess I'm at the point of being happy about small victories. This expereince may prevent me from engaging in a Prusa pre-order in the future.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I ordered my upgrade kit on the 2nd of February. The delivery date has moved multiple times - currently it is August. The benefit is that numerous problems have been fixed found in earlier upgrades, so not annoyed. But is this a record?
I ordered a kit on Friday, and the wait has begun. Did you order a kit, and why did you choose it?
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Sent an email to customer support and was assured that the delay from this week was the last one.
Guess ill see if thats true next week...

I think you've earned the right to demand performance from customer service. Mine is out for delivery today and I ordered in April. Sounds like they really need to stop using notepads and napkins for order tracking.

Well, what do you know: the package has now shipped 🙂
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
The wait is one thing, but it's the lack of decent communication and ETA's that just adds extra frustration. I appreciate Prusa has had a huge influx of orders for a new model, but even if they just kept customers informed as to what's going on on with timescales and ETA's, at least that would be something.....
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
While i can't be completely sure, my order also just got shipped after i messaged support about the delay. I'd also reccomend everyone in a similar situation go sent them a request, the worst they can tell you is that there will be more delays but at least you will know then.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Hi,
Just to give a data point from the "haven't emailed" crowd:
- on the 26th of June (after business hours) I ordered a Core one Kit (lead time was listed as 3 - 4 weeks)
- a few days later the order page showed estimated delivery 27th July to 2nd August
- Around the 29th of 30th of July (so in the middle of the estimate) it got pushed back by a week to 3rd August - 9th August
- 4th of August it was listed as shipped (on the 5th it is in transit).
So overall 5 weeks and a half from buying to shipping.

My package had been waiting for me since Friday, August 1st.
To summarize, the shipping time on the day of ordering was estimated at 4-5 weeks, but the package arrived after 6 weeks. Meanwhile, I chatted with support via live chat.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Hello all!
my first feed back from the kit.
I strongly recommend adjusting the belt tension correctly using the latest published settings. With the Y-axis carriage facing you and the print head positioned to the right, test the belts facing you: 98 Hz top belt, 92 Hz bottom belt. I haven't done better than 100 and 90. Above all, and essential for a kit, buy the accelerometer and adjust both settings. The one for the input shaper and the one for the phased motors (as on the XL) should eliminate the few audible vibrations.
RE:
Mines being delivered to me (UK) on Thursday. It's a bit longer than the 2-4 days delivery I paid for, but I've waited over 2 months for this printer so another couple of days won't hurt.
I've also paid for the VAT, DHL sent me a link to it earlier so thats everything done now from my side.
At the risk of sounding a bit thick, when you say that you have now paid for the vat, was that not included in the purchase price originally?
Well Prusa show the the price including VAT, £874, but they only take £729 at the time of purchase…the rest you have to pay to the delivery company, DHL in this case, who then pass it to the government.
I’ve no idea why it’s done this way, on lower amounts the VAT is included and taken by Prusa at the time of purchase.
As this printer will be used for my business I’ll be claiming the VAT back when the time comes.
My understanding is the reason is because if the order total value (including postage) is less than £135 from EU - then the retailer charges VAT (and has to be UK VAT registered ), over that amount and there can be customs fees on top so VAT needs to be done during import stage.
Prusa charges the net price and DHL collects the VAT on delivery. Since it’s for business, you can reclaim it later
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
The delivery date has moved forward another week. Now due this week…but still no tracking number. Is this a record? More than 6 months. Not one single email or any sort of note giving any kind of reason behind this.
I just bought a birthday cake and a candle ready for the one year anniversary…

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I forgot to add - I actually ordered and paid 2nd February 2025. So now its nearer to 7 months waiting time.
I will post a picture of the party and cake at the appropriate time! (see in my post above for more details....)
