Posted today. Explains the change we’re seeing to a date not batch. I do laugh at the “clearer and more reliable” part when the date has changed every day since they pulled the batch info. My order estimate just jumped 2 weeks from when I looked yesterday 🤣 estimated originally first week of June now end of June. I’m guessing they’ve hit a supply issue with a  part

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

I got that email too on the 25th.

Telling me my order is expected to be shipped within 14 days. The mail included an appologies for delays and a $30,- voucher.
Since I also had a camera on the list i reached out to them if it would help if I removed the camera and got an email that my order, including camera, was most likely shipped this week.

Today I got an email that my kit is shipped (confirmed receipt of the package by FedEx). A second email just was dropped in my mailbox with another appologies and a $20 voucher. But now it's FedEx doing funny things: A text message on my phone "your package will be delivered before 11/06" and a track and trace telling me my package will be delivered on 11/06.

Ah well ... I reserved Wednesday evening to build my printer, expecting to need all night to finish the build. I already told my boss that "I can do my job wit my eyes closed" on Thursday 😎

New data-point:

Current shipping estimate: Expected to ship between 6/14/2025 and 6/20/2025

This was originally "Batch 10". Then on the 25th got the email of "delayed, shipped out within 14 days."
Well, turns out that was not true either and it's more like "within a month", maybe, unless they delay things even more, again.

My 04/29 order keeps being pushed back too.

From « Batch 15 - 06/15 » to « between 06/29 and 07/05 »…

Right now my shipping once again got delayed by four days. Now it’s June 20 to June 26.

Lets see where we are tomorrow. Right now I am more than just upset, even if I see the point in their shipping information that they tossed the batch based shipping windows because they are unrealistic and unprecise.

I can just copy your comment. Same feeling, same batch, same upset.

So the saga continues. Prusa support tell me that the missing camera HAS shipped, and now DPD indicate the second package is floating around a depot nearly 80km from the normal depot. It wouldn't be the first time DPD have let me down on a multi item delivery though, last time the missing item did arrive a day later, because of a screw up on their part. Will wait a couple of days and see if it arrives before complaining again.

Right now I am glad that I changed my shipping earlier in April from DPD to DHL, just because DPD treats our parcels not very well and I trust DHL much more in handling my shipping efficient.

I wonder when the kit and nozzle I ordered on March 31 will be shipped. Next time I will not buy Prusa but will buy from another company. They are too obsessed with European production.

On 4/10 I made 2 separate orders. 1 for the Core One kit the other for the advanced filtration kit + extras.
For awhile, it was a race to see which one would get here first. The order for the advanced filtration + extras has shipped and
the kit is estimated to be shipped between 06/15 and 06/22

Exact same as myself, except I did it a day later, April 11th. Parts on the way, kit isn’t expected to ship until the 17th. Which is better than yesterday by a week 😂 I have to stop looking at the date for my own sanity and just be pleasantly surprised when I see the shipping email. I need to remember when I ordered I didn’t expect until July. So any earlier is a bonus!

@fred-4, I have a similar story, but regarding the camera for the core one.
I made two separate orders on 1 April 2025, and I'm based in the Netherlands:
- One for the printer kit and all articles that had a shipping estimate (at the time) similar to that of the printer, 4-5 weeks, or were directly in stock. These include the advanced filtration, obxidian high flow nozzle, a print sheet and threaded inserts.
- The second order, had items that I considered not critical to arrive early. Accelerometer set and GPIO board, along with the one item (again, at the time) that had a 12-week lead time for shipping, the buddy3d camera.
One guess on which order was shipped merely 10 days later and I received 15 days after the order date?
Yes, the camera one. How does that make sense, then? Other similar examples exist in this very thread for the advanced filtration system as well.
And yet, orders are delayed because of the cameras and advanced filtrations? Right...
Just FYI, I also have the MMU3 enclosed full kit for the core one currently ordered as well.

What can I say... Prusa's logistics currently are at minimum extremely disappointing, and worst case, their overall behavior regarding communication of estimated shipping dates (even before orders were placed) could be considered purposefully misleading.
Others here will disagree for sure, but personally this is not the type of commercial modus operandi that I will be willing to ever try again, regardless of how much I feel I will like their product (it will be my first Prusa printer).
Overall, the lesson I would recommend @jozefprusa to learn (although I'm sure he won't) from all this is, only sell it when you can ship it.
Before all the hardcore Prusa fans jump on me with all their hatred, please consider that if I criticize it's because I care.
And the wait continues...

If you can't handle waiting, don't preorder. If you think this is bad, it's nothing compared to pinball preorder fiascos.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

Yeah, they really should reconsider how they could do more friendly communications and especially expectation management in the future.

At this point I'm really disappointed. Mainly because of the recent 'communications', which to me feels more like semi random flailing to attempt and find something that sticks.
I now have two vouchers… yay?… nah, not really. I want my printer and couldn't care less about vouchers in some foreign currency. My order was in Euro and Prusa prides itself in being a European company. It's become clear that support has been actively stringing me along so I don't cancel my camera. This means that instead of 2 weeks ago, I'll get my printer maybe at the end of the month. Although the shipping estimate is now slowly moving into the future, so who knows.

This means that I've lost a large degree of trust into support, who were probably just trying to do their job and being fed fiction themselves.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

It seems that some people has been giver a 20$ voucher for the delay, but I personally didn't get anything, even if my shipping has been delayed from batch 15 (june1(th) to "between june 27th and july 3rd".

I hope it will be shipped sooner after all, but the estimation just keeps going back and forth.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

I descided to simply wait for my kit and simply check the date from now and then. I am pretty sure Prusa is trying hard on being transparent with shipping dates but is (in some cases) a bit disappointing. I considered more than once canceling my order and buying a Bambulab (or other ...) printer but made my choice of this European printer with strong but less convenient features but better support than other products and I proudly stick to that choice I made.

Well,

Posted by: @nephasth

If you can't handle waiting, don't preorder. If you think this is bad, it's nothing compared to pinball preorder fiascos.

When I preordered the website stated that items would "start shipping end of March". I can handle waiting but 10 weeks late is (pardon my French) way damn too late. Don't lie to us by stating that "we do have enough kits in stock, it's the build instructions that is keeping us from shipping now" (statement from Jozef Prusa in an interview with 3D PrintingNerd) or by telling us shipping will start in March.

Also, make sure you handle your customers in a proper manner. Telling me that it will take 10 weeks to get me my kit and at the same time showing an "estimated leadtime 4-5 weeks" make me feel like not being taken seriously as a customer who already paid his kit months ago.

I don't care what other companies do or that kickstarter projects sometimes don't even deliver at all.
From a company like Prusa I was expecting a more professional attitude. This is not the first time they develop and mass-produce a 3D printer or a printer kit. This is also not the first time they got themselves into problems by not keeping up their promises. They should know better by now.

I want my printer and couldn't care less about vouchers in some foreign currency. My order was in Euro and Prusa prides itself in being a European company.

That surprised me too. All communication from Prusa is using the American date format (April 3rd being written is 4/3 instead of 3-4 like we do in the rest of the world). And why that voucher is in USD surprises me too.

I was not too happy about the way my order proceeded but I decided to just wait and sit this one out. I told myself that I should have know better (Prusa has shown this kind of problems before).
My kit is now on it's way, I was told it even includes the camera. So let's hope that FedEx now keeps its promise and delivers my kit on Tuesday. I have already cleaned my workbench and my schedule to start the build.

The opposite here. DPD send the same person to my area so he knows me well at this stage! DHL j contest are unpredictable. FedEx are generally good too. The worst is UPS. NONE of them deliver in the 4-5 day window either.

Anyway Sasha over, the Buddy camera arrived the next day. Next step is to do the today up and rearrangement for our before install as I want expecting this printer to arrive before July

RE:

I think it’s good to remember that prusa had listed an up to 12week lead time for new orders of the kit made in April once the batch dates were released. Granted it’s frustrating to initially get an expected delivery date sooner, only for it to kick out a number of weeks and now constantly change. But ultimately that initial commitment of is the end of June for early April orders. Need to put it in perspective that there are people who ordered in January and still don’t have a kit as the camera and/or filter messed their orders. They are the individuals getting the vouchers and for good reason. Is all of this good for business, no it’s not. So outright defending this practice from a well established business is also nonsensical. Their customers have traditionally given them the leeway for this as they offered a different type of service and product to the competition however the market has changed, and they need to catch up.
