RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

Batch 13, my shipping date window is changing since last week. I guess Prusa corrects the estimate date more or less in real time. Hope to get hands on my kit next week.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

Ordered yesterday (June 3rd), and have received shipping estimate of July 6th to July 12th.

On the Product Page a lead time of 3 weeks is mentioned but this is 5…

I added Prusament and other accessories to my order which are all in stock, so does anyone have an idea why all of a sudden the estimated lead time is so different from the currently estimated shipping date?

I think the reason is that they "forgot" all the orders with camera and filter that they were not able to fulfill in the beginning. Now that they figured out that there are many orders from batch 1, 2, 3 and so on still not shipped they realize that their backlog is bigger than they thought. I ordered February 1st (Batch 3) and besides the mail that we received I still do not have a confirmed delivery date (Status: NEW !!!). Based on their promise I should get a confirmation till June 6th - so I hope that I will receive news at that time. At least that should explain the longer lead time for new orders.

I think it's a worst case estimate - they probably expect to catch up.

I agree that the lead times are shifting - which is a good thing - it means they are adjusting their timelines, and communicating those timelines effectively.   Ultimately the hope is to have a concrete shipping timeline, but my guess is that the Core One was more popular than expected, and good on them for maintaining a continuous improvement in all things, including shipping.

It's a rollercoaster. I ordered the kit with no extras on April 3rd. At the beginning, it was the 28th of June, then it moved to the 10th, then to the 16th. Later, windows that started on the 10th were followed by those on the 9th. For the last two days, it has been changing between those dates. And now between 13/6/2025 and 19/6/2025

I suppose they're doing their best trying to create and gather all the components. The only thing I can do is wait.

Right. Prusa has a reputation for providing worst-case estimates initially and then coming through with a pleasant surprise.

Unfortunately I cannot agree with this statement. I just received information that now they have problems in their production and they cannot give me any estimate when my printer (batch 3) will be delivered. They hope they can give me more information second half of next week.

I initially purchased the MK4S to Core One conversion kit and had a ship date of June 12th. Two days ago I switched my order to the full Core One kit as I decided two is better than one and got a ship confirmation this morning (6/4) that my order had shipped!

Looking forward to putting this together and running it...

Some really strange stuff happening there.

I ordered kit and camera on 10th April - was in batch 14 then a couple of weeks ago that changed to batch 13.

My original shipping date was July, then late June, at the weekend I got a mail saying it had shipped - looking at package weight (27kg) its definitely the kit. Interestingly, I used DPD (I normally pick Fedex for my normally much smaller Prusa orders) and Fedex for a much smaller parts order I put in last Thursday for my Mk3, which I intend to refurbish for my nephews, and it looks like the DPD order will be quicker.

Really wasn't expecting it to arrive this early.

Congrats! I ordered my kit w/camera a month before you and my batch is still set as 10 shipping 5/28/25. I did receive the email a couple of weeks ago explaining about the delay due to issues with the camera. Oh well, the wait continues. It will ship one day.I chose FedEx for shipping. Not because I am a fan of theirs but I have had issues with DHL in the past (they said they delivered an order from PRUSA but it never arrived and their only response was to reorder it).

I’m seeing the same thing and the exact same movement on dates. I Ordered my kit April 11th, only a day later than you. Yet to ship though, and every day the estimate moves a day. Fingers crossed I’ll get it early based on what you’ve experienced. Interestingly, I had separated my kit order from accessories (filter unit, camera, plates, filament, nozzles etc) based on everything I’ve read about Prusa, and not to order printers with other items. Just got a notification today that the accessories order has shipped 🤣 when I ordered there was a 7-8week estimate on the filter so, shipped on time I guess 😆 least I can make use of the filament I ordered on my current printer while I wait! Feel for the many who ordered before me and still don’t have them on the way.

I’d love to understand how prusa manage their inventory and shipping sequence. I know from experience supply chains and inventory are hard to get right and it’s difficult to easily plan but there is serious need here for a review of their processes to lean them out. I’d imagine the multiple versions of the same item (assembled, kit, conversions) with shared parts don’t help. But seeing people get items shipped when they made orders months after you is definitely a good way to burn loyal customers who ordered day one. I waited for the dust to settle before ordering so getting the experience I expected but do feel for those who ordered day one and expected a March shipment  but are still waiting

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

My batch 13 order from April 2nd is now moving back and forth in shipping dates. Right now it moved to a 4 days later shipping window between June 13th till June 19th. Fingers crossed and honestly (I am a little bit upset and seeing Bambu printers available within two days ... Hope it’s worth the wait)

Ordered my kit with some basic and yet available items so I hope this isnt holding back from being shipped.

I might contact the chat about this, just to be sure evereything is fine.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

Ok, makes sense now. They just shipped the printer, no camera. Says on the DPD tag there is a second package, but nope. My original order still has a note saying "ships 30th June". I think they just foobar-red and shipped the printer minus the camera. I'm onto support about it. I wasn't expecting it to ship at all until the 30th June.

I'd be surprised if I'm the only person in this position but it does seem like they inadvertently shipped without the camera. I had made the order for a wait to ship until complete.

My shipping estimate just got updated (originally Batch 11, June 2 for Kit + Camera) to "between 6/20/2025 and 6/26/2025". So only a little more than 2 weeks to go - nice! 😀

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

Anyone had their batch 12 despatched? (ordered 26th March). Before they wiped the shipping table it was due starting the 5th June. Now multiple times a day it changes. In the past 3 or 4 days it's gone 9th-15th, 6th-12th, 3rd-9th, 6th-12th, 7th-13th, 9th-15th, and currently showing 8th-14th.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

New data-point:

Current shipping estimate: Expected to ship between 6/14/2025 and 6/20/2025

This was originally "Batch 10". Then on the 25th got the email of "delayed, shipped out within 14 days."
Well, turns out that was not true either and it's more like "within a month", maybe, unless they delay things even more, again.

If I would have been given better information the two times that I contacted support, I would have canceled the camera to unblock shipping.
As I would have really appreciated having the printer delivered before next week.
Yet I trusted their promises… 😫

It's really unfortunate how communications and expectation management is being handled for a notable portion of orders.
