I am so glad to see all the posts about people getting their kits. It is clear that there were a lot of printers orders based on the number being shipped and the huge wait list (based on time to ship).
I can't wait to see people's photos of their builds and prints as you get them running. It is a great time.

everyone from the support just try to find excuses
It makes sense if you think about it, the shippers probably prefer to pick up a truck/container load at a time, say 300 machines, and it's going to be a lot easier if all that load are going through the same forwarding depots ... batching by country or even region streamlines the process.

My Core One kit has just been handed over to DHL. I'll have vacation from Monday and can relax and assemble the printer. I'm ready to go 😎 😀

Mines being delivered to me (UK) on Thursday. It's a bit longer than the 2-4 days delivery I paid for, but I've waited over 2 months for this printer so another couple of days won't hurt.
I've also paid for the VAT, DHL sent me a link to it earlier so thats everything done now from my side.

At the risk of sounding a bit thick, when you say that you have now paid for the vat, was that not included in the purchase price originally?

I ordered mine 9 minutes after the start and it is now set to be picked up. USA, Fedex 5-6 days, no extras.

Are you sure that anybody who ordered more than 30 minutes after the doors opened has already received a kit, or at least has confirmation that it was sent? I might have lost track, but I thought we were still seeing reports only from people who ordered in the first 15, 20 minutes.
When exactly did you get your order confirmation? Or share your order number, which is just a timestamp.

Indeed, I would have expected this to have shipped as part of batch 1.
On the first day, it looks like they might have shipped FedEx orders first. And afterwards they apparently decided to prioritize US orders, to try and get in before the new tariffs become effective. That opportunity is over now, so fingers crossed they revert back to "first come, first serve" and your order ships quickly now!

Do you think things like filament slow down shipping? Someone wrote that they already sent him the filaments and the kit, I'm still waiting.

I wonder if they make more or less money on the kits, i would guess quite a bit less considering its quite a fiddly work to sort and package everything, write and upkeep of instructions, adapting of the design for easier assembly etc

I just contacted support and only the Filtration fan is holding mine up. They said if I remove it, the printer would ship in the next 2 days, but again it won't arrive before the increased tarrifs so what's the point?

At least you got the option to remove it. The rep I spoke to said the edit option was locked.......🤔

I saw on Reddit (as well as a couple of posts here) that people are currently and/or considering cancelling their orders in favor of either an assembled Core One or another printer like the X1C + AMS 2 combo. Main reasons are the tariffs (the cost is now too much for them to justify whatever they were looking for in the Core One vs the competitors) and the shipping dates/lack of patience. The US corporate cynic in me says Prusa may still be prioritizing US shipments to prevent cancellations. Sure, the orders can possibly still be cancelled after shipping begins, but many here would rather eat the cost and try to re-sell locally than go through the trouble of shipping it back.
