RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Thanks for all the detailed information! It's good that the inside of the box wasn't damaged. But it's really strange that the kit comes with a test report.
It really seems as if not another kit has been sent out since the 31st. But I guess there's nothing left to do but wait and see.
Anyway, have fun and please keep us updated. 😊
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Lets hope they start shipping the next "7 minutes" of orders soon incl mine, doesnt seem to happen much at all atm with the shipping. I hope you enjoy the build 🙂

All individual parts are tested at Prusa.
They have extra stations where the parts are connected and tested.
All sensors, display, buddyboard etc.

Yes, I can see that for the electrical and electronic parts. But "X(Y, Z)-axis movement" seems like a stretch? And I am not sure what "firmware check" would mean in this context either.
The test slip is dated March 31st, by the way. So @iftibashir's assumption that they had already packed many kits in advance does not seem to hold up. Or maybe it's just the print date of the test slip and the actual component tests were done much earlier, before things went into their individual bags and boxes.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
All parts are in good shape, as far as I can see. The inner boxes provide extra protection and stiffening, and are all unscathed. And the individual parts inside are held securely in place by custom-cut cardboard or foam inserts -- nicely done!
By the way: I came across the two steel brackets which will attach the X linear rail to the Y bearings. As discussed in the "hardware help" section of the forum, the X rail is not always orthogonal to the Y rods, causing slightly distorted prints and Y homing issues. According to my machinist square, one of the brackets indeed deviates notably from its nominal 90° angle: about 1 mm off on the 40 mm arm length. Glad I got the kit, so I can rectify that before the part is attached to the sensitive bearings!
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I made a case for an esp32cam modu in the Core One l and published it on Printables.
Could also work for the Prusa Enclosure.
Your case looks great for use in the Core One, thank you. I'm going to print one to test inside my MK4 and MK4S enclosures too. I don't have any 8x3 magnets unfortunately - I don't suppose you could enlarge the magnet recesses to take 12x3 magnets could you?

How will you rectify the not squared bracket? Hitting it with a hammer until it becomes straight? 😀

Turns out that they are not as tough as one might think -- probably mild steel or plain old iron. I just clamped one of the bracket's arms in a vise and didn't even need my grip pliers to bend the other arm; finger force was easily good enough.
I used my electronics vise, which has plastic-covered jaws to avoid damage to the bracket's powder coating. But any old workshop vise, with cardboard inserts to protect the bracket, should work nicely. Make sure to clamp the more sensitive bracket arm -- the narrow one with the large cutout -- so it is supported and stays straight.

Now how do I talk myself into doing some more working-from-home and not dive into the assembly right away...? I guess I'll have to at least open the box and take a peek!
Working is for losers. Start the kit !!

Yeah it definitely appears there is a pause in dispatching the kits.
Whether that's intentinonal or not is open to speculation I guess.

Just for you 😉
It's not quite as pretty, but you can't see the spot. Otherwise I would have had to change too much.

Marvellous, thank you. I'll print that this evening. By the way, the module that I bought isn't the same as the one your model is designed for, but since I want three in total I've ordered a couple of the sort that fit your model - should arrive tomorrow.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
You're talking about thoses brackets right?
It surprises me a lot that they seem to be this soft...Even on the picture they don't seem perfectly straight.
Yes, those are the ones. Once the X gantry is fully installed and supported on both sides, there should not be a lot of bending force acting on them, hence they should be ok.
