I don´t thik so. This is normal with Prusa as seller as we could record in tha past . You can pay - immediately- and than wait and wait. But this is not correct. They promised sending start in march - and in fact they started on april 1st. And if someone have paid on 31st of january ( in the evening as me) and now he is in batch 2 - starting on april 17? 2and a half months. And can anybody guarantee this date? If I am at the end of batch 2, the date os sending can be may.
I don't think that statement is fair. The conditions for pre-orders and advance payments were known from the start. And complaining now when you are in batch 2 is also not correct. That's not prusa's fault either.
Also just got my confirmation. Ordered 21min late and I‘m in batch 2. So the day before eastern they are starting with batch 2 to ship. So Prusa like fashion probably more like first week of May. This means Prusa is working 3 full month with my money. Quite frankly I‘m not happy about it and in this timeframe I could have gotten the new Bambu printer, which released staggering 4,5 month later than the core one.
So yeah, my wife was hoping to give the printer to me for eastern and hide every single assembly bag in the garden, this dream is also over. So from shipping in March when ordering, to probably ship in May as Prusa can clearly not be trusted with giving shipping information.

Ordered February 8th around 20:36 CET (confirmation email) and just got assigned batch 6 that starts the 19th of May.
It will be a little longer to wait then i had first hoped, but luck will have it that the week after i have time off from work planned, so if they indeed manage to ship it that week then it is here during my short holiday which would be ideal.

I ordered mine on 27.2 and landed in batch 9. Shipping starts June 6th.
So yeah, soon as possible sounds like a good plan.

It's incredibly unfair to announce "shipping starting in March" only to post on April 1st that shipping actually began the day before — without any prior update on the schedule. First-week orders are now shipping with a delay of around a month and a half compared to the expectations they set. Wow. This will definitely be my last Prusa printer (and I'm still within the return window, so I might just send it back!). It's honestly the first time I've seen a company start shipping a product and only communicate it after the fact.

I think I'm one of the latest orders. Order date 2025-03-10 and Batch 11 / 16. Jun (at least 2025).
Now I'll go into my basement and cry about my late decision 😫

There might be hope for your accelerometer. After getting the tracking number yesterday, this morning I thought, what the h.ck, and ordered accelerometer and gpio board. That order has a tracking number now as well (so stuff seems to be in stock). Though only the C1 is in FedEx hands so far ...
By the way, Prusa had announced three packages to FedEx in my case, of which two have actually been shipped out. The first one is clearly the printer (identified as the "master package" and with a separate weight stated), and I assume the second one is some filament. The accelerometer will apparently be shipped later.
Ideally they should have reserved the accelerometer when I ordered it (and it was in stock). But doing partial shipments without extra charge is also a decent solution to the shortfall. 👍

Point of reference: Kit order placed ~22:03utc 31 January, shipping FedEx to the US. Order has updated to say Batch 3, starting 25 April.

17 days between batch 1 and 2, and 8 days between batch 2 and 3. So batch 1 customers are used as BETA testers for the assembly manual. Good luck. 😀 😎
