I just pestered support via the online chat (feeling slightly bad about it -- wait times are around 30 minutes, so they must have a really busy day...) They informed me that my kit was in "packing preparations", and that this probably means that either they have the accelerometer at hand, or I will get the printer kit shipped on its own ahead of time.

Not quite time for "all's well that ends well" yet, but moving in the right direction! 🙂

Oh, don't be such a hater, they haven't broken any promises. After all, it's still WELL OVER 6 HOURS till midnight in Prague, so I don't get what everybody is so upset about.

On a totally unrelated note, has anybody else started to feel intense hatred towards that blog post about the Beads flash contest that simply refuses to make way for an update on our kits? No?

Now begins the wait! Hopefully we get some batch info or something with the first kits now going out. 

Getting excited! I've already got some new filament and a couple print sheets ready to go! Lines up nicely with paternity leave I'm about to start! Congrats everyone, you made it 😂

That must be such a common reaction to the Beads blog post that Prusa even changed its headline picture today to give it a false identity.

Just checked github, new version is in tags but not in release, one step from release.

Seems like a chunky update! Phase stepping seems to be rewritten (more than 2000 lines of code changed) and enabled, some auto_retract feature of core one is mentioned and other tweaks.
