RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Ok, that's an average of 75 orders per minute.
So there are still 526 to go before Jürgen and 975 for me.
If they opened the gates at 17:00. I'm still hopeful that, in true Prusa fashion, they might have started a bit late. 😛

That's right, they're never actually on time.
Then we can easily deduct another 200.
They'll easily manage that tomorrow.
Now it just depends on FedEx 😎
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I'll resist looking at my order number and time so I won't get depressed 😀
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Just to clear one thing. Your order number is a Timestamp.
Go to "epochconverter.com" and you can check the exact order time.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
My Order Date is Friday, 31. January 2025 16:11:10 (So +1 , my order placed 17:11:10)

Aha, thanks! Indeed, that works out nicely for my order number. So we cannot derive anything about the actual number of orders that were received -- except that it can't be more than one per second. 🙂
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Yeah, but that would be weird!?? No matter how many servers you add to your website, if you have an epoch-based order number with a resolution of 1 second you can never have more than 1 order per second. I can't believe THAT is the reason the site was so slow when they enabled the Core One Kit orders. Although it does put an upper limit on the number of orders ahead of me, so that's good ... I guess 😀 .

Yes, it's a weird design decision. Probably dates back to a time when the whole Prusa site was running on a single computer in the back room.
Regarding the Core One pipeline: Who knows how many of those orders comprise 10 machines at once? Or was there a limit in place where you could only order one per household? 😉
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Interesting, never seen this before, thanks.
Got my confirmation email though at 16:14, and using the convertor site shows:
Assuming that this timestamp is in seconds:
GMT: Friday, 31 January 2025 16:13:32

Usually you have a queue behind it , so i if you don't expect to be the next Amazon, this System is fine.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
My time stamp says: 17:13:51
I think and hope we'll find out more tomorrow morning. I wish us all the best of luck 😊
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
It is 7:19 PM, or 1919 in military time in Czech. I suspect we will know something by morning, probably noon in Prague or 6-7 am EST.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I hope that this is not a timestamp: 1742158946 (my order number from 16.3.2025)
That means that I will order in In 497 years: 13.06.2522 16:26:21.742
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I entered my order reference into epochconverter and it translated to "You might have something to unwrap next Christmas" 😬
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
When I enter the number, I get the following result:
GMT: Sunday, March 16, 2025 21:02:26
