Stacking a Core 1 on a MK4 Original Enclosure

Are there any issues with stacking a Core 1 on a MK* original enclosure?  I'm thinking that next winter I'd like to put a second printer together and since space is at a premium going up seems like a good plan.  I have a MMU3 on order for the mk4 that I plan to move to a future Core 1.

Two things to consider, the weight of the core one will probably need to be supported by more than the enclosure plastic, and most of your interactions with the core one will be at its upper end.

And a third thing: The lateral forces from the accelerating print head in the Core One will skew the enclosure it sits on. I would be very surprised if it provides a sufficiently stable support.

If you have to position one printer above the other for space reasons, I suggest a sturdy, wall-mounted shelf for the upper printer.

There isn't plastic, all metal corners.

Oops! You’re right, and it’s plenty strong enough. I misremembered the enclosure, stored away after upgrading the MK4. Sorry.
