RE: Shipping dates
Hi,
I join the "club" on march 1st 😀 . But I failed to find any accurate information on the batch that includes my printer. Is it the last one ? I don't have any batch number on my order. Only a "new command" status.
Thanks for your hints
RE: Shipping dates
Hi all, my first post on Prusa forum and my first Prusa printer on the way (Christmas present from my wife and children) ...
Stato ordine:Spedito
Data ordine:05/12/2024
Data di spedizione:04/03/2025
Hoping for delivery by the end of the week...
RE: Shipping dates
The thing I do find odd that considering the transparency of the process, is I've never been given a 'ticket' with a date to expect shipment, or even s batch reference. Even if it is constantly put back due to delays, which I don't mind, you're in the dark if you bought a kit, checking the order status until the TBA changes to something else, or you get a mail with news.
People that ordered assembled units did not get a batch number until the units stated to ship.
RE: Shipping dates
Hi all,
I ordered the kit on 13.II.2025, I still have TBA status
RE: Shipping dates
Batch 4, for now... nothing. News from other guys? just for curiosity!
RE: Shipping dates
Right, so you get a batch number when they first started shipping the assembled units? Seem to me like they don't have their logistics all figured out. It's all very flaky. Not a great baptism into the world of Prusa, but I still want one 😅
RE: Shipping dates
ehhm, I ordered a kit on Feb 19th from Prusa's website (I'm in Europe), got the invoice, paid it and all.
Where can I find the batch I'm in?
RE: Shipping dates
I think we should give up on all this batch confusion, and just wait.......not much more to do TBH! lol
--> MK4 - MK4S - MINI+ - MMU3 - Accelerometer Guide - BambuLab A1 Combo <--
RE: Shipping dates
Was going to get in touch with Prusa and see what's what. We're all just surmising at this point. But it is very confusing. Now......where's my printer? 😅
RE: Shipping dates
I got updates this morning for my delivery which even contained additional stuff like filaments, nozzle etc.
Destination: Germany
Order Date: 9.12.2024
Batch 4
Shipping Date: 6.03.2025
FedEx Delivery Estimate: 10.3.2025
RE: Shipping dates
No delivery date yet but mine has left the FedEx facility hopefully before the end of next week.
Batch 4 Order date 12/6/2024
RE:
Man, I thought I was an impatient consumer. I get that money was already paid, but it was clearly stated as a pre-order, with no delivery guarantee... clearly some of y'all have never been part of a Kickstarter. Take a deep breath and find another hobby for a month or two! I'm itching for my kit, too...
RE: Shipping dates
Batch 4 data order 10 december 2024
Data shipment, 06 march 2024.
Dhl is on the way, i think is good!
Damn for webcam and filter, one month later... but i think not a big problem.
RE: Shipping dates
I ordered mine on Dec 2nd and it arrived yesterday. I think timeline is pretty close.

But that's the point. Prusa is an established company, not three guys running a Kickstarter campaign. They should run their business like a mature company, not asking their customers for a loan.
Of course they are free to request prepayment anyway. Some people won't mind at all, some people will give in to it while grinding their teeth, some people will rather buy elsewhere. I just can't understand why Prusa opts to accept the share of teeth-grinding and deserting customers. I sure hope they are not forced to do so due to their cash-flow situation -- because in that case it would be an even worse idea for customers to give them money ahead of time.

Because those customers by far are the minority. They are the vocal minority but still the minority.

They are actually expanding operations, I very much doubt they are having any form of cash-flow issues.

Hard to know how many sales they are missing out on, right? I would assume the majority of the non-customers will just quietly walk away.

I agree, I would be very surprised if Prusa had financial issues now. Although I am a bit nervous about their long-term outlook. I would not be surprised to see Prusa move further into the higher-end and professional space, where they don't have to go head-to-head with the mass-produced Chinese printers. Let's hope Bambu et al. leave them enough breathing space in that segment.
RE: Shipping dates
Type: Fully Assembled
Order Date: December 12th
Batch: 4
Shipped Date: March 7th
I went with the cheapskate FedEx to US shipping option, but happy to see it in transit. Will be excited to get the new printer up and running.
RE: Shipping dates
Cheap or expensive, we tend to choose the most dependent shipper. In our neck of the woods FedEx is actually doing a decent job. Here it's DHL throwing boxes or leaving them in front of the delivery address in the rain ;-( According to a contact at a seriously large shop the difference between shippers varies dramatically per district. There's no safe universal choice. I'm happy Prusa left us an option.

Same here. I have have printers deliver to three locations. Results are different at all three.
