RE: Shipping dates
Does it make it awkward if I check my order status a few times per day to see if there's any change? Anyone else catch the complete Core One teardown video on YT? It all looks like typical high quality Prusa standard stuff to me. The anti-vibration motor mounts are nice details. Curious if noise deadening material (Dynamat, for example- used in car audio installations) applied to some of the sheet metal panels would make additional improvements. Can I volunteer to be an assembly instructions beta-tester?

RE: Shipping dates
checking several times a day, shouldn't be an issue.
Instructions Beta tester, could be difficult at home...
probably best to offer your services via email. info@prusa3d.com

That would be an interesting Mod to test.

RE: Shipping dates
For those looking to glean their shipment date... I ordered Core One (no accessories) on 11/29 (batch 3). I got notice from FedEx that it is shipping out with estimated delivery to Los Angeles on March 5th. So they are still on pace but I just hope I get a properly built machine. I fear rushing the builders will lead to more problems.
RE: Shipping dates
Is batch 4 shipped... My friend ask me.. otherwise he will cancel tomorrow the order...

I would tell your friend no.
RE: Shipping dates
I am still waiting for batch 3.
RE: Shipping dates

I don't understand this mentality. So if he decides he wants one again, he'll just be further back in the queue. All cancelling does is move someone else closer to getting theirs so props to giving someone else his place I guess.
RE: Shipping dates
Batch 4. Nothing at the moment.
RE: Shipping dates
Thank you James Kirk. I will told him - you are Batch 3 and wait ... Since Tuesday Prusa will start Batch4 ... He told me... tom i has cancel my order and order a Bambulab ...the printer comes in 10 Days...
Thank you prusa - i have cancel my order and also my friend cancel the order... 2 Printers less... you like your money...
RE: Shipping dates
Enjoy your other brand printer. Glad other people will get their Core One sooner with the cancellations.
RE: Shipping dates
This is the problem these days: people can't wait. Thinking this way "buying another brand just because it's faster to get", seems like a dumb move to me.
If you're in batch 3, you've already waited a few weeks, so it's just a matter of days now, maybe less than 10...
But you're free to do what you want.

They build and ship around a thousand Core Ones every day (qualified estimate), so those two cancellations won’t make a difference. Let’s be patient and hope for no hiccups in the component supply chains that could cause delays.
RE:
Those two cancellations will mean 3 other orders (since they said they were getting two and their friend one) get theirs sooner. They don't make the printers for X and go "oh shucks, X doesn't want them anymore, guess we'll just toss them". Sure it may only be a day or so sooner, but it still means they get it sooner.
That said, no one at Prusa (or on these forums) is going to cry over this person and their friend cancelling their orders.
RE: Shipping dates
In 6 months time you'll be with your chosen solution, wishing you had of waited for the Core One, which you really wanted deep down....
--> MK4 - MK4S - MINI+ - MMU3 - Accelerometer Guide - BambuLab A1 Combo <--
RE: Shipping dates
Nope. I have never understood waiting 6 months and then canceling because the product does not ship within a few days of your "deadline." I will wait patiently for the product I ordered from a superior company.

RE: Shipping dates
It's just not good. At Prusa, you pay when you order. That means the money is gone and you wait forever for your goods...
waiting 6 months for the MMU3, also a 6-month delay for the MK3.5 upgrade. Well, there was a free update to 3.9.
Here with Core One, it's been almost 3 months now since the money has been with Prusa and he can't manage it with the team.
I wonder why the list is updated almost daily but the delivery date doesn't change.
Monday is the start of the new batch 5 and as you could read here, batch 3 hasn't even been sent. What is the point of this delivery list?
And not a thousand printers are made every day. I'm assuming more like 50 per day... That's why the problems always reach the customer immediately. If you make a thousand a day, the problem wouldn't be so big.
Think about how many people would otherwise be needed for this. Each printer has a certain production time. If we estimate that one person builds three printers per day (this is a simple calculation; it's unlikely to be an assembly line production), then perhaps 100 people are assigned to this (if at all) and they then build 300 printers per day...
With 1000 printers per day, he not only needs 333 employees, but also logisticians, because handling increases exponentially.
RE: Shipping dates
I just got informed, that it is already on the way.
I ordered on 30.11.

You chose to order just after launch day, knowing the wait would be hard (I suppose the same happened if you waited for the MMU3 and MK3.5).
On my side, even though I would like a Core One, I haven’t ordered one yet. Why? Because I know that if I order now (assembled or kit), I will have to wait for about three months. And I completely understand that it’s a pain in the *** to pay for something and wait three months. That’s why I choose to wait until summer or fall to order a kit. The total waiting time will be the same, but the time between ordering and delivery will probably be shorter—maybe three weeks (or more, whatever), just like with their other printers. And I won’t complain because I understand that a European company doesn’t have unlimited resources and personnel like a Chinese company.
If you read this: https://www.prusa3d.com/page/about-us_77/
"900 employees, around 10,000 printers shipped every month."
With 20 working days per month, that’s about 500 printers per day. But that’s not 500 Core Ones—they are still producing their other printers. It’s also a mix between kit and assembled printers, regardless of the model. And it’s definitely not 900 employees working solely on the Core One either.
It’s hard to satisfy everyone, but they chose transparency when they announced the Core One very early and shared deadlines that people can interpret differently. They were probably surprised by the number of orders. Even though I agree with you about adding new batch numbers to the list without updating the previous batch’s date, maybe they are a little late but expect to "catch the train."
RE: Shipping dates
That´s correct, and that is something what I think is not ok.
And there are other things, which I don´t like on the prusa printers.
But for me the reason to stay with prusa:
My MK3, my MK3.5s, my MK4s, they all work without problems, and the most important things:
+ It´s made in Europe.
+ No (chinese) cloud.
