PTFE tube wear?

So, I'm coming from the Prusa Mini. On that, one wear item that annoyed me to no end was the bowden tube between the extrder and the hot end. Using matte filament from Polymaker, it's slightly abrasive, so every 6 to 8 months I'd need to replace it, otherwise, perimeters wouldn't stick. This was rather hard to observe without potentially destructive testing, though, hence the annoyance.

Does anyone know what sort of behavior we should expect to see on the Core One when that feed tube gets worn? With the extruder where it is in relation to the hot end, will it even matter? I mean, if it ruptured, of course, that would matter...

RE:

It doesn't extends around 1cm into the nextruder and doesn't go anywhere near the hot end. As far as lifetime due to wear, I don't think the printers have been out long enough to know for sure yet unless Prusa did testing and have the numbers somewhere. I suppose if you are printing a lot of CF or GF filaments it will probably wear down sooner. If that happened it wouldn't affect the print quality since the Nextruder doesn't use the PTFE as a heat break.

Wish we can have a longer period to edit... What I meant to say is: "I doesn't extend further than 1cm into the nextruder"

Anyway, the PTFE is not a consumable item for the Core One as it was in the MK3 printers.

Thanks, that seems to answer my question.
