From my experience in other forums, it would be better if a bit more structure could be enforced, by a simple form or such: Is this an offer or a search? Where is the buyer/seller based (country or state)? What is the item? What is the price, fixed or negotiable?

Even with all that information provided, each trade tends to turn into a small thread of its own -- with questions about the item, questions whether it's still available, "bumps" when it has not sold after a while... So a whole forum section, with one thread per trade, is probably the better structure.

For me, reselling on eBay is a very, very, very last resort. I still have all the parts for my Bambulab Vortek upgrade, including the main toolhead and X-Axis and the heatbed - both valuable parts in terms of cost. Trying to re-sell them is easier said then done. Reason why I use eBay as a last resort is because of how one sided the system is - the buyer could purchase, remove or swap over a part, then return the item as not working, or not as described, and eBay will force the seller to accept the return, pay return postage, and provide a full refund - leaving me even more worse off then I started!

I do wish manufacturers would offer a trade in deal for unused or removed parts. Prusa's only offering, the HT90, is priced well outside most people's budgets (unless you are running a business) and for $4K more you can get an IDEX 22 which has much better specs. But to Jürgen's point, if I were running a print farm I would want the vast majority to be the same machine and maybe have a few specialty machines in the background.
