New to Prusa and Printables.
It’s also been a while since I last used a 3D printer. My last printer was an Ender 3 with a direct drive hot end. I’ve never used Prusa slicer. So here’s my question. Should I download the slicer even though I’m getting my prints from printables? I have to say the kit was a good build my grandson and I had a blast putting the core one together. Thanks folks
RE: New to Prusa and Printables.
I would download prusa slicer, in case you get .3mf files for a  different printer model, from printables...
or in case you get an STL which needs slicing!

+1 for the download. Not all files come presliced, and in my case, I often have my own preferences for material, print orientation, layer size, etc etc
Even if you don't go into the "advanced" settings, having this l evel of control is very desirable (to me at least 😀 )
