For some of us, 3D printing is a hobby. For others, it's collecting 3D printers. 😉

(And then there are those who just want to make parts for some other hobby of theirs. I guess I am in that category.)

Hmm. As usual with Prusa, they are testing our patience with distributing new product. But the lack of information from them is terrible. Now we have 11.20 GMT+1, and nothing with batches have changed. No information, no explanation. Support is "uninformed about this situation", as they said me. And "problems will be solved as soon as púossible". Isn ´t it nice for us? Now everybody nows, what happened.

OK, let´s "be patient"

What upsets me most is that I paid Prusa for it on January 31, 2025! They haven't fulfilled their part of the contract by delivering! I didn't want to give Prusa a free six-month loan; I'm not a bank! Collecting money for free is a business model, after all! They shouldn't get their money until delivery!

I do not think they know about the error.  They guy in support said what the system says does not matter, yours order shipped.  

Since we all know the magnitude of the batch error, I suggest you all contact support.

I have contacted support, but their answer was - "be patient" a nd " we are not informed about this problem" (means about rebatching orders). What else to amend?

I'm sorry but this argument comes up often enough that it's worth another response.  This was a pre-order, and we all know how they charge up front and ship when they are able.  I think this becomes an easy complaint to make when the patience starts to get difficult, but that doesn't change the fact we were all happy to make the choice we did up front.  If you can afford to place a pre-order and pay 4-6 months in advance, we have that option. If not, then you probably shouldn't be placing a pre-order in the first place.  If it becomes a financial hardship for you, simply cancel your order and they'll refund your money.  It's as simple as that.  You can always order it in the future once the lead times come down.

You were also shifted from batch 3 to batch 6.  Can you share how many minutes/hours after ordering opened that you placed your order?  I'm curious to know how tight the ordering timeframe is.

Pffft.. My March order still lists itself as "Batch 11 (11 Jul 2025) " (which isn't even on the table any longer) never mind "Batch 6".... 

The shipping/ordering timetables are completely bejorked.  <Shrug>   

I think the bigger concern isn't that everyone has loaned Prusa some amount of money... Its that Prusa doesn't seem to be able to say when they're going to "pay it back" (by shipping).   That is somewhat disappointing.

Placed my order for the Core One Upgrade with new lcd by itself 1/31 at 1:37 EST. Was initially assigned batch 2 and order moved to in progress last week.  Yesterday I was moved to batch 6 with a ship date of July 21.  This is quite upsetting.

My batch time uppdated just to "Shipping starts: Week of 09/06/2025 (Batch 3)" before it was 22/05 (batch 3) and it is with filter unit

Don't fret.  Read my post above.  This is exactly what mine did and it is one the way.  There has to be something wrong with the batching system.  I recommend you contact support.  A short chat will reveal that you are not in batch 6.

Tut mir leid, aber das stimmt nicht. Ja, es war eine Vorbestellung. Aber sie schrieben, der Versand des Umrüstsatzes beginnt im April. Dann hieß es Ende April. Dann war es im Mai, und sie schrieben „TBA“. Dann schrieben sie, Charge 3 startet am 22. Mai. Also, haha, alles falsch. Es tut uns leid, wir haben einen Systemausfall. Der Versand von Charge 6 beginnt am 21.7. Ich habe kein Problem mit der Vorbestellung und dem Preis. Aber genug ist genug. Wer sagt, dass Charge 6 wirklich am 21.7. startet? Sorry, but that's not true. Yes, it was a pre-order. But they said the conversion kit would start shipping in April. Then it was the end of April. Then it was May, and they said "TBA." Then they said Charge 3 will launch on May 22nd. So, haha, all wrong. Sorry, we're having a system outage. Charge 6 will start shipping on July 21st. I don't have a problem with the pre-order and the price. But enough is enough. Who says Charge 6 really launches on July 21st? But I canceled my order. You'd know that if you'd read my previous posts.

Good luck.  I think your cancel is premature.  There is an error with the batch system.  My order moved to batch 6 and shipped 1-2 days ago.  It changed to batch 6 after shipping.  I am 100% certain they are having an issue with the system or it is a human error.

After an hour of sitting in chat waiting at 2 min till my turn, Ivan confirmed that the order I placed within the first hour for a upgrade with new lcd and nothing else was CORRECTLY changed from batch 2 to batch 6 and offered no accommodation or solutions.  I have spent thousand of dollars with Prusa, and after being burnt on both the XL order I placed day one and this CoreOne upgrade, I am done with Prusa.  I have spend thousands of dollars supporting this company and after 2 back to back disastrous launches and no information, I'm out.  I just cancelled 2 orders and will be switching to Bambu.  Best luck to the rest of you, maybe someone will be bumped into my spot in July...

I can tell you that this whole batch switch is weird.  Tuesday night, as I said before, I received a shipping notice from FEDEX.  My order still shows as unshipped and "processing".  Then it switched to batch 6.  

As of this AM, my package and printer are in Belgium.  

This is very odd.

It's obvious that Prusa is prioritizing complete kits over the upgrades.  It makes sense, but it's unfair to those of us who have given them an interest free loan for 6 months.  We all got burnt, again.
