It is really hard to determine. It could be that there a large number of folks ahead of you that have orders with extra that are not in stick such as the Buddy Camera or Filtration system.
It very well could be an anomaly, but I'd like to be optimistic and hope that they are way ahead of schedule for everyone.

In a Facebook group, I read that someone from batch 2 also received the shipping notification. DHL as well. I have DPD – maybe that’s the reason.

Their shipping is all over the place. I never received a batch number ordered on day 1 and I know folks who ordered in the first few minutes of availability given batch 3. Mine is out for delivery.

I ordered in the first 15 minutes, and it is still in new. So if batch 2 people are getting shipping notices, it must be the camera or filtration system causing a delay in shipping.
Batch 1, ordered roughly 1 hour after they opened the preorders but my order status is still "new"...

I finally grew weary of waiting for this marginal upgrade to my MK4S and used the money to order a Centauri Carbon. The wait will be longer, but I'll still have my MK4S plus a CoreXY plus $200.

I guess once you have your shipping notification you can start work disassembling your MK4s and get started with the process, so you're ready to build the Core One as soon as it arrives!

As you are now the first to be supplied, you have also been given the obligation to scrupulously check the assembly instructions 😉
Personally, I think that too little emphasis was placed on the conversion. It looks as if large parts have simply been copied from the normal assembly instructions. In the comments currently available, for example, you can see that it is unclear whether the NFC antenna is new or reused.
Overall, I think the conversion instructions have been sloppily cobbled together. Unfortunately, I have to put it so harshly, because the quality of the assembly instructions has been excellent so far.
I come from an MK3 kit and have now upgraded this printer to the MK4S. Before the pandemic, we assembled around 60 Prusa kits here in Hackerspace. With course participants who had never had any contact with 3D printers before. Every participant was able to take a working printer home with them. The high-quality instructions made this possible. It would be a great pity if the original quality did not return.
In the meantime, the comment function could help out here. Let's make sure it's good again.

I have not received my conversion kits yet, but I have looked at the assembly instructions for it. I don't see any issue with it at all so far, it provides clear instructions on how and which parts you need to remove from the MK4S. It clearly list all the pieces you should have removed that are needed for Core One assembly. Obviously the assembly manual is going to be mostly the same as the full kit, because it mostly is a the full kit, just with some scavenged parts.
There is no confusion about NFC from my perspective, it is not listed as a part taken from the MK4S, and the instructions clearly say there is a new one in the parts box at the point where it needs to be installed.

The Conversion instructions just have all the extra steps beforehand in order to disassemble and clean up the MK4s parts. Once that section is done the actual core one build is the same as standard kit build from what I could see when I had a quick glance......

Haven't reached this step yet but a big difference in the assembly (and they do document it) is the wiring between the PSU and buddy board. The re-used wires are much longer so they run them under and in the base, bundling up the extra wire. Otherwise it's mostly is the disassembly of the MK4S and parts prep.
I did find this a bit odd given replacement wires are like $7 retail but ok.

I think the difference continues to the front cover as well. I looked at the printable parts for the MK4 where they were printed and silk screened. 2 versions available so a different injection molded part as well as a different printed back.

According to support, my order is being held up because I removed the Advanced Filtration a few days ago (purposely to keep that from delaying my order) but that is now stuck waiting for a refund. So I'm still TBA.
Support said he would put a note in to have them expedite the refund to free up my order. Hoping I maintain whatever place in line I would have had (for an early-ish day 1 order). Seems like it would have been better to leave the filtration in, get my batch number and all, and then remove it (assuming the shipping delay wouldn't occur until the Conversion Kit was about to ship).
Did you manage to get this sorted?
I am in the sam situation but I have the refund already from a few weeks ago.
Support says they didn't hear from the shipping department yet.
